That's why they are called vanity shirts, ya think? Herp derp. I've got a similarly characterized license plate and I make no excuses for its purpose.

The discussion started around whether or not throwing out sexual orientation like that meant throwing out sexual content. I suggest you go back and read.

Everything is about sex.

Although I agree with biff that it IS a bit of "look at me!"; a few points:

1. Speaking specifically for America, I dare say that homosexuality is still considered taboo although that frame of mind seems to be on a steady decline. It will never be absolutely accepted by society. I would say the majority of the country adheres to the live and let live motto, but the acceptance is still in it's infancy even in 2015, and this is the type of shit that you get in this stage. People want to express their sexual orientation. Hopefully years from now 99% of people won't bat an eye, and in turn the country has one less wedge issue to bicker over.

2. I'm at the point now that I embrace homosexuality. There is way too many fucking people on this planet.

3. How many homosexuals buy clothes at target, really?

You did not answer this question.

You really don't like defending your position, do you? 😉

And they called me obtuse?

Here, drink, horse.

So, does this mean that a gay person who never has sex isn't gay? What the hell are you getting at? I use an oversimplification and you idiots decide to go full retard. Gay or straight is about sex. Whether or not you are having it doesn't make a difference. But that doesn't mean that its still not about sex.

I'm not wearing a shirt, I've just got out of the shower.

Why are you thinking about me when I've been showering?

Better watch out WelshBloke. I saw xBiffx wearing this shirt:

Bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit. Where do you come up with stuff anyways.

The shirt said swallow, not suck. Get your facts straight. :colbert:

(And no Welsh, that was not an invitation.)

This whole things seems like a non-issue. Homophobes can make a stink if they want, but they're more and more a fringe minority.

But what's this "embracing" that we're supposed to do? Do you embrace brown hair? Blonde hair? Blue eyes? Do you embrace left handed people?

These things just are what they are, there's no need to embrace anything. Why do we need to actively cheer on uncontrollable physical and personality traits? Can't we just all be who we are without condemning or embracing every little difference?

Well, for one, I never said you or anyone should accept homosexuality much less embrace it. I embrace it, for the reason stated above. I would hope in the future the country would accept it and move on to more pertinent political issues.

I just wanted you to reiterate your flawed logic that it's all about sex, even if the person is not and will not have sex.

Doubling down on stupid, as it were.

Clearly, as has been shown, you can't read or perhaps refuse to do so when it suits you.

That neighing sound is quite telling.

What in the actual fuck. Where is the straight pride merch? The white pride merch? The battered women merch? The black empowerment merch?

Target is a business. They made a business decision that carrying gay pride merchandise would be profitable. They should not be forced to carry merchandise for other less profitable or non-profitable political messages.
