mmm... I cant condone using the "N" word gets you laid down in front of moving trains. He was talking shit but you cant start that violence shit... You will just enable them.. If you absolutely must, be sure that he hits first, one way or the other.
 
I'm of the mindset that we shouldn't give words power but I'm not a person of color so I'm not going to judge. I do know when I said a cuss word as a child I got knocked backwards to floor. After that I knew I did something wrong and I didn't say that word out loud in my house again.

I don't condone the violence at all, the dude went over the line and should not have assaulted him. It's a shame it's coming to this

Didn't see that in the video and the guy was taking off his shirt while the loudmouth was still talking on the other side of the platform.
I do not see anywhere in the video where the guy was physically attacking the woman with the white shirt and black pants.
 
I think people here are only seeing a black man hit a white man because of the N-Word. You were led to think this because of the headline.

Empty your mind of that headline and re watch the video.

Now see one man harassing, threatening and physically assaulting others (yes, he is touching and pushing other people including a female security guard) and another man lay him out.

That's what you see when you remove bias.

Except that when the man is down and not a threat the guy kneels on his back and proceeds to punch him in the head a few more times.

Am I seeing the right video? The one I see only shows the man yapping and waving his hands. At no point do I see him touch anyone. He is out of field of view for just a second and the big guy is already approaching to punch him.
Screaming and being animated is not "violence".

disclaimer: I Take NYC subways on a regular basis so maybe this video is just too "quaint" to me.

When you hit a man, you don't wait for him to get back up and hit you. You make sure he stays down.

He was very threatening. And was making a beeline towards a woman (and all accounts say laid hands on her) when he got hit.

What I see is one man stepping up to protect everyone. Was he angry? Sure.

It's obvious you've never been in a street fight where parents, teachers or security weren't there to save you.

Here is a hint: There is no rule to actual fighting. You hit them with anything and everything until they go down, and then make sure they stay down. You NEVER back off until you're sure they will stay down. Full stop. I can't tell you how many people I've seen lose a fight because they back off after a guy goes down only to realize all they've done is piss off someone who can kick their ass.

I know it's brutal, but hey, that's life.

Please. He looks like he would have no trouble beating his ***.It doesn't even seem reasonable either to expect this guy would have tried to get back at him after that walloping.

The irony of this post coming from a conservative such as yourself is amazing. As a trained Army infantryman, I can tell you one ALWAYS shoots to kill. There is no such thing, in ANY firearm training, that teaches "shoot to wound."
