My friends in the Noreaster states ask me to buy them for them, cause it's like 20-24 dollars a carton here, and about 60 up there.

Yeah I haven't bought any since the price went up, but I'm guessing a carton here now cost about $48 to $50.
 
I quit a few years ago, but I smoked Camel Filters with the occasional pack of Nat Sherman Lights thrown in there occasionally.
 
djarum specials. i like djarum blacks and also the vanillas (for the quicker burn) but the 7-11 down the street never stocks them so im perfectly content with the specials.
 
Marlboro Lights but i smoke VERY infrequently. Pretty much only when im at a party or as a break during an all nighter or maybe coming back from a long day of work. I dont do it around my friends since i knowi ll get the "omg you smoke? thats sooooo bad for you" speech

For general stress relieving smoking, Camel Turkish Royals...though they were out tonight and I picked up some Ninety-Nines..they seem pretty good...I guess it's just their ultra long cig?

Anyhow, not sure if many people smoke around A&T.

I smoke very casually though, one before classes, one after work, sometimes one in the middle.

I only smoke in the car / outside though, care too much about my hardware to smoke around it! =)

oh i have a smoking question too. people tend to constantly smack their pack of cigarettes against their palm. what is that for?

Packing.. compacts tobacco against the filter. Unpacked cigarette will have tobacco going all the way to the end of the tube, a packed one will have a millimeter or so of excess at the end.
 
Lots of people can tell you how bad smoking is for you - and they're right.

You might feel immortal now but smoking *will* come back to haunt you, unless something kills you first.

Take the advice from people in this thread who once smoked and then quit - it is NOT worth it.

is there a huge difference? or just more nicotine per hit? i would assume it's harder to drag right?
 
wow i smoke about a black and mild every 5 months.... never developed the habit

TBH if you smoke you are a pussy and listen to your bitch friends

btw my habit is HT components and computer parts...

My dad caught me smoking once. I thought he was going to get mad, but instead he threw a bucket of water on me and put me out before it was too late.

I have been smoking for 26 years (I'm 40) and I smoke the cheapest brand I can find, USA Gold. Why? Because I live in NY and will not pay the ridiculous taxes on my smokes so I get them from an American Indian reservation in Long Island where they do not report to the feds because of the treaty. I pay about 2.40 for a pack and if you smoke its not for taste, its because you are addicted and need a fix, so why pay more for a brand name? USA Gold taste close enough to my old marlboro brand and I get the same effect. We habitual/addicted smokers are no worse than crackheads. :Q
 
Well I've only ever smoked these cloves, which don't have nicotine, so I'm not physically addicted. It's just something to do to fill idle times, or to just relax. They make my apartment smell, though. Clove cigarettes are highly odiferous.

The good people at big tobacco wouldn't lie to us. Why would they sell something that causes cancer? They don't want to kill there own customers!!! That would be silly.
