i can't wait till we get that "too harsh of a punishment" poster.

Al Sharpton will have a field day on this.

It's cause she's blackkkkkkkk
i am so sick of him and Jackson. they do more for separating the races than uniting them.

Is it because white people like you don't like seeing black people being empowered?

You think people like Sharpton and Jackson empower the black community? I'd say quite the opposite holds true.

Hm i think you need to dig out your dictionary.

 What?

what's empowering about this story?

I wasn't referring to the story but to your comment about Al Sharpton and Jackson (i have no idea who you're talking about).
if you are defending Sharpton and Jackson you have no idea what you are talking about.

google Tawana Brawley - there's some empowering

Meh sh1t happens. Nothing is perfect in this world, and you're going to get some people trying to take advantage of stuff. They're on the extreme, because in order to get any attention in this age of hundreds of media channels, thousands of media outlets, and millions of stories, you need to act outrageously. That's what they do. I don't know why white people get their panties in such bunches when they see blacks with power actually helping other blacks. Of course, you ignore all the other blacks that are treated unfairly by the system. What are the chances that a white girl would have been charged with a felony in this case?

LOLOL ok, if you say so.

So tell me, why are you so sick of Sharpton? What is he doing that's separating the races?

At least with neo-nazis and KKKs, they're upfront with their beliefs.

Ah yes, there it is. Blame the white man for holding the black man down! I think its time blacks step back and take a look at their own culture for a minute before blaming others for their problems.

Google "jesse jackson extortion" some time. My dislike of Jackson and Sharpton comes from their promtion of victim culture in place of personal responsibility.

Back to the original topic, for hopefully teaching this person a lesson. Eating prison chow for awhile might get her to behave ethically in the future out of fear, since apparently she didn't learn honesty or ethics from her parents.

What if the black girl spit in the man's cup because he was white? Would she have spit in Kobe's cup if he complained?......You can make baseless arguments like yours all day long.....truth is- the girl is a worthless employee of taco bell and it's unfortunate that we will have to pay taxes towards the lawyers and towards this girls stay at the state prison.........lets face it- if you work at taco bell- expect to be treated like a roach- you are one!......................

Both local taco bells who employ 90% of the students from my former high school that sat nearest the tray dropoff in the cafeteria (you know who they were in your school)............

Couldn't agree with you more, Dave Simmons. I'm asian, and i'm sick and tired of seeing guys like sharpton and jackson make every black criminal into some kind of victim here. It's about time to for EVERYONE to start taking responsiblity for their actions and not hide behind their race.

The fact of the matter is racism occurs in this country, whether we like it or not. I'm sure there are a lot of African American's who were prosecuted because they were black. I just don't think that it has dawned on people like Sharpton and Jackson that turning every case like this in to some highly publicized case of "it's because he/she is black" is doing nothing but diminishing the effects of the true cases of racial prosecution.

If you tell me some black guy is pulled over at 2AM for driving 70 MPH on the freeway, okay, maybe you got a point of "it's because he's black" But how can you say this case falls in to this category? The ONLY way that may be possible is if the customer decided to pursue these charges becasue she was black. In this case, how can you prove that he wouldn't have done it if the server was white? Personally, I'd puruse the charges whether the server was black, white, red, yellow or whatever race possible.

I know this is probably a moot point, but I was never a fan of Taco Bell because their employee screening has always seem subpar to me. On the rare occasion I go there, their employees all look bored and could care less how the customer feels. Almost as if they're saying, "fvck off, you're interrupting my paid vacation time." Now this, I doubt i'll be going there any time soon.

I've heard Al Sharpton speak a number of times, he speaks the truth to a greater degree than most politicians I can think of.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A Stafford County fast food employee is facing felony charges after a man told police she spat in his drink.
Eighteen-year-old Shaleesheya Ford is charged with adulteration of food, obstruction of justice and making a false report.

She faces up to 10 years in prison.

It happened April 14th at a Taco Bell along Garrisonville Road and it all started when a customer couldn't get some tea.

According to Stafford General District Court records, the 35-year-old victim - who did not want to give his name - purchased food at the drive-through window but didn't get the iced tea he ordered.

He says he complained and later got the drink. But when he opened it up he saw "a strange substance" floating in the cup.

Investigators later linked the incident to the woman.

She faces arraignment Tuesday.
