WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A Stafford County fast food employee is facing felony charges after a man told police she spat in his drink.
Eighteen-year-old Shaleesheya Ford is charged with adulteration of food, obstruction of justice and making a false report.

She faces up to 10 years in prison.

It happened April 14th at a Taco Bell along Garrisonville Road and it all started when a customer couldn't get some tea.

According to Stafford General District Court records, the 35-year-old victim - who did not want to give his name - purchased food at the drive-through window but didn't get the iced tea he ordered.

He says he complained and later got the drink. But when he opened it up he saw "a strange substance" floating in the cup.

Investigators later linked the incident to the woman.

She faces arraignment Tuesday.

wha?

Coupled with making a false report, I'd guess that she lied to officers about the entire incident a told them something else happened.

DNA test from saliva coupled with DNA test from accused? Even if she wouldn't give them a sample, I'm sure they could find hair in something, maybe the hats they wear? I bet those are company property...

Spitting, imo, is assault. I had some guy (when I was like 15) try to pick a fight with me and I wouldn't hit him despite his repeated saying, "hit me! hit me!" Then, to I guess get me further pissed off, he spat on me.

Low and behold my reaction just took over and I punched him about 10 times in the face before others held me back from him. He was bloody. Then, the parents who were 'supervising us' (was right before a soccer practice) had this huge debate of who's fault it was.. Because I was the first to hit the kid.. but he did spit on me.

Oh ya.. I think a quick reaction like someone does to scare someone can also be assault. Being the smallest kid in my class all the way till about 10th grade, I got picked on a lot. So, I got in a lot of fights. One kid did kind of a clap with his hands right in my face to make me jump when he was picking a fight. So, I started punching him. I didn't get in trouble (was at my school) because my principal decided that the kid who picked a fight and tried to scare me instigated it because one's natural reaction is to protect himself. How am I supposed to know he's just clapping in my face and not punching me right when it's happening?

So anyway, imo.. Spitting in a drink should be a felony.

Is it because white people like you don't like seeing black people being empowered?

You think people like Sharpton and Jackson empower the black community? I'd say quite the opposite holds true.
