He was only sentenced to 90 days in a psych ward and was cleared after 42 days and the evaluator deemed him mentally sound and unlikely to offend again. I don't think he has been accused of anything since. Also the judge said he was going to send him back to jail and then ask him to leave the country on his own. The guy left. So all this for a month and a half of skipped out on time. It was in 1977, which was different back then, but those were the charges and penalties then. The woman has moved on and wants this to die down as well. Yea he skipped town, but for all intents and purposes he did his time. It was different in 1977.......
