Aren't they always? Why do you think SUV drivers coined the term "aggressive driving"? No sh!t you drive like that (talking on cell phone, not signalling, not moving with the flow, no regard for simple lane discipline, etc) in your monster tank with no regard for my safety I'm gonna be pissed! The whole idea of being a big SUV driver is to be a passive aggressive jerk-off who is always try to blame the other guy for their own stupidity.Originally posted by: JulesMaximus
Notice they don't mention if motorcycle ownership has risen during the same period. It may very well be that motorcycle fatalities have stayed the same or gone down if you look at these figures as they relate to the total motorcycling population. Gotta love statistics and the slant the news media puts on a story. :roll:Safety advocates are quick to point out that motorcycling is no game, with fatalities nationwide having risen every year since 1997. The number jumped from 2,116 in 1997 to 3,661 in 2003. It's not clear how many of those deaths were related to extreme motorcycling, said Judy Stone of Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety, a Washington-based lobbying group funded by the insurance industry.
I think the people in the SUV are equally stupid for not wearing their seatbelts. Fvcking morons. Just looking for someone to blame for their own stupidity.
But squids aren't much different, just the flip side to overt aggressiveness and an even bigger does of stupidity. Don't lane-split outside CA, squid-boys, someone will open their door.
