Why would you swerve from a motocycle?? I'd let him smack into my bumper, get run over and keep goin on about my day. Well, I may stop to give him a Darwin Award....

I hate those fsckers. The other day when I was driving back from Jersey, there were a group of 10 of these future darwin award winners. They were weaving in and out of lanes and going between cars even. If I had been changing lanes, they would have been dead. Which would be a good thing.

Rider going between car dosen't bother in stopped traffic. What bothers me is when they turn the road into their playground. Just because you can weave in and out between cars doesn't me you should. We all know sportbikes are fast why do the people riding think they have to show us ever time they get the chance. :)

Well at least you have a good reason for wishing death on them. They pissed you off with their driving so they should die...gotcha.

I agree with you Insane3D.....he's perfectly correct in wishing death on them. That's awesome that all of us feel the same way about this. ;)

right.. you talk a lot of crap....

it's human reflex to avoid any major harm to another person or oneself

keep saying you would just run them over with no remorse... same thing as looking down the barrel/sight and pulling the trigger on a gun

Exactly!! I'd easily be able to look down the barrel of a gun and pull the trigger when someone broke into my house and threatened my family. Well, when a little itty bitty bike decides to play chicken with my Expedition, I kinda think of it as the same way. If your going to endanger my life by driving like a complete asshat on your bike, well, the "trigger will be pulled" as it were.

Oh, and its NOT MY reflex to avoid harm to people, because, well.... In general, I hate people. And I hate dumb people even more. So, what do YOU think I'd do to a stupid biker whos using the road as a playground. Now, take into account I hate people, and dumb people even more.......

Indeed - this could easily have resulted in a solid half-dozen Darwins, all for one incident :)

Motorcyclists who split lanes, and make other aggressive decisions in traffic shouldn't die. But htey should lose their licences.

*shrug* I wouldn't care if they died. One less idiot on the road putting others in danger. If they laid the bike and died, well, that's their own stupid fault. I have no sympathy what-so-ever. If some biker were to try to cut me off, I wouldn't budge. If they spilled because of it, that's their problem, not mine.

I had a sport bike for a number of years. I never did the crap that you see these people doing. Even though I rode a Ninja for 3 years, I'd still have no sympathy for these morons. They'll get what they deserve. If they put others in danger just because they want to show off, then they do deserve to die.

I didn't say they don't deserve to die if they do something dumb and kill themselves; I just don't necessarily wish it on them.

And often they endanger innocent people; I'd rather spare you the hassle of dealing with police investigations, coroners, and insurance companies when the bike flips over your car, y'know?

Hey bite me asshat..
why should I have to sit in traffic with your dumb SUV gass guzzling ass..
If I can find a way through traffic on my bike Im gonna take it...
and in most states a cop isnt even gonna look 2x at me for doign it... unless im doign it at 100 mph..

I hate you fvcking cage driving asshats... This is the only country in the world that has more cars than motocycles, bicycles and other modes of transportation..
you people piss me off.. you clog up the roads with your 3000 lb gas guzzing hunks of crap and pollute the world...
bite me..
yes I speed alot.. but most of the time there are cars going faster than me...

BTW in several states lane splitting with bikes is 100% legal... we can use the same lane you are in and go past you...
and if you interfere YOU get the ticket...
not me...

if you stupid a$$holes in cars would learn when you see bikes to no freak out when you see bikes coming and hold your lane straight and not flinch when we do come by there would be no accidents..
I need less than 1 foot space to get through safely... I will lane split and continue to lane split and weave through dumb ass "cages" till hell freezes over I have been doign it for 25 years and I dont plan on not doing it anymore...
Fvcking cars.. just beacuse you cant do something safely that we can on a bike you guys cry and whine...

riding a bike in traffic is dumb.. and unsafe... you idiots on your cell phones and listenign to your boom music while eating your breakfast or slapping the kids... all I can do when I rode my bike is concentrate on the road.. there is no doing my hair or talking on my cell.. its 100% concetration when I ride to make sure you fvcktards dont run my ass over...
getting past the traffic by using holes to get past traffic is a perfectly viable technique used by every biker I have ever met.. and backed up by law enforcement as long as blinkers/handsignals are used and we dont do it at mach 1...

I dont consider myself a reckless rider.. I have way more skill and control over my vehicle than 97% of the stupid ass sardine can drivers out there.. 15 years of race training and 25 years of riding bikes on the street.. Im used to being less than 2 inches from another bike at 150 mph..

jsut casue you idiots are so distracted by your lives to look out for us doesnt make me the Darwin Winner... yes there are squids out there that ride wheelies through traffic... but that is a minority mostly the new wow bikes are trendy club...

Lane splitting is legal here in California.

Oh, and studies show that lane-splitting is actually safer, because it is easier to swerve a bike from side-to-side to avoid a collision than it is to quickly change speeds to avoid rear-ending/getting rear-ended by a car. Also, motorcyclists clipped from the side are far more likely to survive or suffer fewer injuries than if they were rear-ended.

Just to show how considerate those bikers were, after causing the accidents, they never bothered to stop.

Really? Is it legal to ride between lanes with the flow of traffic? Or is it actually legal to run between lanes full of stopped cars?

I can see the benefits to one, though I think it might result in a lot of 'lane-changing' by motorcycles. But the other seems like a recipe for problems. I've seen enough bike couriers get on the wrong side of a taxi door here in toronto, and it would be way worse for everyone if they were motorcycles.

Lane splitting is legal regardless of traffic conditions.

CVSiN I agree 200% with absolutely everything else you said, but America is not the only country in the world that has more cars than any other form of transport, you'll find that 99% of developed countries have the same situation. In Britain bikes make up only 1% of road users the story is pretty much the same across the whole of Europe, I think the only places where this doesn't hold true (in the developed world) is in the Asian states like China etc...

Completely off topic, but that bold-italic response looks pretty cool.
