I'm biased..against idiots who constantly post BS regarding this situation butt never attempt to offer a solution. Of course the Suicide Bombers andf Arafat suck, I've said that many times. But just because they do it doesn't make Israel a bunch of Angels.

Look Suckup, you post your FUD about the Middle East constantly but you never suggest a viable solution for peace. It's alweays"The Arabs this and the Arabs that" Hell if I was Pro Israel I surely wouldn't be after listening to you and the other FUDsters blather on.

Dufus, I've posted stuff saying that Sharon is too aggressive and too focused on military solutions. And on several occasions I have said that Israel should abandon settlements even in the face of terror. You just pick and choose which of my posts you want to read. Idiot. :|

Guilty as charged. From my perspective they are usually just the typical" Pro Israel this and that the rest of you are wrong" crap. Maybe I missed the one or two posts of yours that actually had an original thought behind it

Was wondering Red, what your solution would be? I honestly don't have one. Muslim extremists are probably always going to make Isreal pay for simply being who they are and where they are at.

I personally am at a loss for real world solutions. Doesn't seem like the peace for land deal is going to be enough for Arafat (or whoever pulls his strings).

I honestly do not think going back to the original borders is a workable solution. I personally think if it will stop suicide/homocide bombing then Isreal should do it though. Only real issue from there would be how do you stop other Arab nations who profess outright hatred of Isreal from invading through these territories? Oh, the U.N.? That is a funny thought.

Anyway, Here is a funny suggestion. Why doesn't someone convince the palestinians to stop bombing innocent citizens and let Isreal vote Sharon out (most don't seem to like him anyway, but support his efforts) which they would do most likely. Give Sharon and Arafat the Nobel peace prize and a promise of a 100 million dollars each of personal monies if they can figure out how to get the violence to stop. Money is a good motivator...................:D BTW this was a joke.

I think I missed all of your posts that had any original thought whatsoever.

And for you this is all just an academic exercise because you don't have any family in the middle of the conflict.

Israel as as much right to attack Palestine as we do in our 'War against terror' on afghanistan. In the last several months, Palestinians have carried out more suicide bombings than all bombings of the last 20 years combined. and of course there are always civilian casualties, but would the United States really allow some independent group investigate the US attrocities in Afghanistan/Kosovo, etc?

We are all in the middle of it, supporting israel blindly is at least partially a cause of 9/11. No one goes untouched by the sh*t over there.

<edit:> and NO, we didnt have "it coming", just pointing out our involvement was one motivation of the bombers.

The original topic was addressed shortly after MartyTheManiak posted this topic. He hung around for 3-1/2 hours after posting, but never offered a single response. How could anybody do that? Why would you bother posting in the first place, if you didn't intend to discuss it?

and adequate care was not taken to prevent civilian deaths it seems, the lessons of vietnam have been learned i think

It is important to note that the UN is NOT investigating Arafat's role in the sucide bombings. That is a Critical Issue that once again the EU is not looking at.

The UN is claiming a coverup by Israel in Jenin, which we will all know very soon was BS.

Remember, these same MORONIC papers said American Bombs killed thousands of Afgan civilians. The Source? The Taliban. And until the Red Cross went in and said it wasn't true, those stories ran almost non stop in European newspapers.

Then the Euro papers jumped all over some pictures claiming the US was "torturing" POWs in Cuba. Once again, disproven. This time by Tony Blair himself.

And now the Morons are back at it again claiming a "Massacre" in Jenin. The source? Why the Palestinians.

These papers that write these garbage knee jerk reactions to little or no evidence are the ones you should be questioning.

Tex, I dont want to go to war with you, and I am waiting to accuse until the report comes out. However, some claims were obviously true, like how israel wanted to remove dead bodies and bury them outside of palestinian areas. Their supreme court had to even step in and intervene to prevent this. It just seems very suspicious why they would want to do that.

<< The UN did not create israel check your facts. >>

I'm sorry, would you care to enlighten me with the truth?[/i] >>

Sure.

The UN did pass a resolution recomending that the area of Israel be partitioned between arabs and jews. However it was only through the will and determination of the jews that Israel actualy became a state. Israel was recognized internationaly as a state; not because of any UN decision, but because the USA, and USSR imidatly recognized the state of Israel upon their delcaration if independence.

The UN did attempt to come up with a solution to the violence in the area, but it is not fair to say that the UN created the modern state of israel

on a diferent subject-

I am tried of people trying to claim some middle ground by saying 'both israel and palestine are guilty of atrocities' Tell me you wacko fence sitters. what attrocities are you claiming israel commited? is defending yourselves from constant arab agression called an attrocity now?

Not that I know of since Lebenon but killing innocent civilians is. Whether or not Israel is guilty of this has yet to be determined because they refuse to let a UN Fact Finding Mission in. Their excuses are as Pathetic as your argumjents for not letting them in.

<< Was wondering Red, what your solution would be? >>

For the umpteenth time. Israel withdraw from all occupied lands and close their settlements. Set up a Buffer zone enforced by Armed UN Troops, Also build a physical barrier between the two sides. Of course this will not prevent all Murdering bastards who want to kill Israeli's but it will stop most plus it would go a long way to easing the tension between the two sides and their Arab Nieghbors. If it doesn't work then we'll know there is no solution and we can start killing each other in mass all over again,

You do realize that your solution would decimate both economies, as thousands of Arab workers work in Israel, and Israel needs them too. But hey, I guess it's better to have no economy than having bodies on the streets. However, UN troops is not the solution, as Israel would not and should not accept UN troops. The UN's bias against Israel is undeniable, although I'm sure you differ with that.

EDIT: Also when you say withdrawing from occupied land, I assume you mean that you want Israel to go back to the pre-'68 boundries. I cant see how Israel can accept that, as it would leave the country defenseless when the next Arab intifada starts over the next fabricated reason.

How about NATO Troops. Even better, how about German Troops. Those fokkers owe the Jews big time.

BTW, what goods an economy when there a good chance you'll be blown to smithereens ? Even with Israel going in kicking ass every 6 months you know that it will acconplish nothing but making more suicide bombers.
