Supper = last bit of food in day (8-10pm) before sleep. Small light meal, ie few bits of toast and a cup of tea! Supper comes after dinner. 😛

Breakfast-->Brunch-->Lunch-->I just got outta class, lets grab a bite-->Dinner-->Supper-->Late dinner in city before going to bar/club-->Denny's/Jack in the Box at 3AM-->Breakfast

I say dinner.. but i think back in the day my grandma used to say dinner was the equivalent of lunch. and thats why some people say supper.

Before college I would eat

Breakfast -> morning snack -> lunch(noon) -> lunch(4pm) -> evening snack ->dinner.

there was no supper!

Here in the People's Republic it is dinner.

When the fvck was that, in colonial times? I'm in CT and dinner is dinner, lunch is lunch.

I think dinner was originally the principal meal of the day, whether it was at lunch time or supper time.
In earlier days, many ate their main meal at lunch time so as to have energy for the physical work of the rest of the day.
