the thing that really creeps me out is the new "Spiderman and Friends" toys.
WTF !?!
Spiderman doesn't have any friends!! And if he did, the Incredible Hulk would definately NOT be one of them.

Silver Surfer vs Green Lantern was pretty good. They're pretty evenly matched.Originally posted by: amoeba
I think the best marvel matchup for Superman would be The Silver Surfer.
I think that matchup would go the distance.
Supes vs Thor would probably be equivalent.

Man this thread wants me to start reading comic books again. Any good graphic novels you guys can recommend?
Cap is "enhanced". If you recall his origins he was ordinary until taking "Super Strength" serum (along with the Red Skull).Spiderman can beat both Cap and Batman since both Cap and Bats are human at best.

In Avengers/JLA (2004), they match up Superman and Thor.
They trade punches and Superman lays on the heat vision.
Thor walks through the heat vision and swings mjolnir down at Superman.
Superman catchs/blocks Thor's swing and does an uppercut and knocks out Thor.
End of fight.
In Dc Vs Marvel,
Superman fights The Hulk.
The Hulk's strength increases with his rage and it limitless. However, before the HUlk can really get angry, Supes knocks him out by punching him through a few mountains.
Captain AMerica fights Batman a few times...
they are evenly matched while fighting hand to hand, and Batman suggests that Cap might even take him if the fight continued on. However, they stop fighting because its pointless.
Spiderman can beat both Cap and Batman since both Cap and Bats are human at best.
A better match for Spidey would be Midnighter or even Deathstroke.
Even though Thor is considered the main strong guy for Marvel, there are a whole bunch of stronger chracters.
Kurse would probably rank as one of the strongest.
Kurse was a villain who fought Thor while Beyonder watched (Beyonder=omnipotent being).
Beyonder increased Kurse's strength, which Thor negated by putting his belt of strength which doubled his strength. Beyonder then increased Kurse's strength to a point where he was pummeliong Thor who had double his normal strength. Kurse turns into a good guy and is killed off by incompetent Marvel writers in recent Thor comic..they don't even explain how he died when he can probably kill pretty much anyone.
Gladiator, the leader of the Marvel Imperial Guard is identical to DC's superman. Strength, invulnerability, speed, heat vision, etc. However, since he's never a main character, he gets his butt kicked often by idiot writers.

Actually Hyperion of the squadron Supreme is marvel's equivalent to Superman, I understand if you never heard of him.
I still think Thor could defeat Superman conisdering how vulnerable supes is to magic. If Thor was smart enough to bathe a area in lighting it would be game over.
Squadron Supreme is a take-off on DC's Justice League, so not really a valid comparison.Actually Hyperion of the squadron Supreme is marvel's equivalent to Superman, I understand if you never heard of him.

Ha! Well Shazam was doing a decent job of lighting the S-man up in Kingdom Come not much of a stretch for Blondie to do the same.

Are you talking about the super soldier serum?
If you are, the super soldier serums makes the person operate at MAX human capacity.
He would be the best a human being can ever be...still a human.
