WTF !?!
Spiderman doesn't have any friends!! And if he did, the Incredible Hulk would definately NOT be one of them.

IIRC, he was occassionally friendly with Blackcat. ;)

Supes- he would just stand there and yawn as Spidey threw everything he has at him.

Also, Supes can burn his own DVDs with Heat+Microscopic vision.

LOL - spoken like a true nerd.

More likely to win in a fight? Superman.
More likely to live down the block from you in Suburbia USA? Spidey all the way.

Superman VS The Hulk.....who'd win THAT one?
The hulk was supposed to be infinitely strong. I can't imagine anybody beating him.
Already been done in the Marvel vs DC books. Supes won.

I think the best marvel matchup for Superman would be The Silver Surfer.

I think that matchup would go the distance.

Silver Surfer vs Green Lantern was pretty good. They're pretty evenly matched.

Supes vs Thor would probably be equivalent.

much better question to ask.

Mary Jane is a model, so she may be weak from starving herself, but she would be fitter and taller than Louis Lane.

However, Louis Lane would come out on top (literally and figuratively). She has the spunk and will fight tooth and nail. Plus if Lane is ever is any real trouble, Superman will just swoop in and save her. Meanwhile Spiderman would probably be too busy catching some purse swiper to really pay attention and help MJ.

heh they had a cross-over where superman pretty much kiked spidermans rear end. wich i think would happen.

spiderman does not have access to cryptonite like bateman does. Not to mention spiderman is still to much of a goodie two shoes to fight unfair.

Superman's a boyscout too. But yeah, spidey doesn't stand a chance.

heh yeap. In the cross-over superman throws a punch at spiderman. Just before it hits he thinks to himself "if this lands it will kill him!" (something to that effect) so he pulls the punch. BUT the air blast still sends spiderman flying through the air.

And in Hush (batman series) Superman is controlled by Poison Ivy and goes up against Batman. Pummels the heck out of the detective, who admits that if Superman wasn't such a boyscout Batman would be dead. Even controlled by another person, Superman can't kill. Just a big ole teddy bear.

only time i have seen superman even THINK he killed batman it was a ploy to make everyone think batman was dead.

can't remember the series. but both were old and gothem was taken over by diffrent gangs.

That series was Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Fantastic book.

Hmm. A better matchup (well probably not) would be Superman vs Thanos (with the Infinity Gauntlet). I still remember the days of the Infinity Gauntlet...nothing like having the entire Marvel universe band together to try and defeat one guy.

When did you stop?

Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen are prerequesites.

Marvels and Kingdom Come if you haven't.

Akira is a masterpiece.

Hmm, I stopped probably around 1993-1994? Dark Knight Returns looks great, I'm gonna pick that up off of Amazon. I still have some of the original comics from Batman:Year One, I wonder if that's still worth something.

Suprised you haven't read DK, as it came out in '86 and was really the book that changed the whole Superhero genre. Watchmen also shares this honor. Both are great books in their own right.

Akira is sadly overlooked. I picked up the Dark Horse translation a few years ago and think it's the best graphic novel to date.
