How is that disturbing?

Young people are stupid and don't understand the concept of paying taxes instead of receiving taxes.

Honestly voting age should be more along the lines of ages 25+ after the brain is fully developed. Kids are fucking dumb.
Under that argument should people over 60 be denied voting rights too since they start being senile and arrogant due to dementia.

Both of you can go fuck yourself . . . metaphorically . . . for buying into this shallow, asshole divisiveness.

The real deal, if there is one, is the ultra rich vs. the rest of us.

Blaming the old or blaming the young is both incredibly shallow and buying right into the diversion which keeps those who truly over-benefit from being held to account. BOTH the young AND the old have been screwed over and cheated by our system.

sort of agree here, would have never guessed without the Hillary foil Sanders wouldn’t do so well

That's because you think Bill Clinton was a great president. Meanwhile that name is cancer in the rust belt whose manufacturing jobs got sent to China thanks to your boy.

The most disturbing Stat is that Sanders won the <50 demographic. 40-49 is just over 50%, but 30-39 is >70% and 19-29 is >80%. Biden has a lot of work to do.

Unfortunately 19-29 doesn't vote even when it's their guy on the ticket.

Cosign. Add to this blaming black voters in the South, factory workers in the Midwest, farmers, miners, teachers, nurses, and anyone that's not part of the apparatus that delivers government policy for the wealthy and well funded special interests.

I find it hilarious you can't understand why people hate the Clinton name after the way he cozied up to China and set us on the path towards that 2008 crash.

:disrelieved: But muh Russia :disrelieved:

Agreed and it has been like that for decades, really sad how nobody gets the idea that voting is typically pretty easy and absolutely something we should all do.

Scolding people for not voting is pointless. It's up to the people that care to figure out why they're not voting and address it.

While Biden won the polls there's an undercurrent of "meh" about him as well that might be problematic in November. Meh is better than "active dislike" such as the last Dem candidate but it's not exactly what you're hoping to see either. No idea what Trump would score in this question, especially if it was all likely voters instead of just party primary voters.

At the same time, enthusiasm was not widespread. Just 41% in Missouri, 35% in Washington and 31% of same-day voters in Michigan were enthusiastic about Biden as the nominee. Sanders fared worse in Missouri, the same in Washington and had slightly better enthusiasm than Biden’s in Michigan, 36%.

Yeah, except 18-29 is like 15% of the voters while 50+ is 55%. Let's throw a big fuck you to the 55% in order to court that 15%.

Honestly, boomers have to take some responsibility for this nation being left to future generations in the sad state it's in. They have voted conservative ever since they hit voting age and went for Nixon.

If you don't vote, people won't care about enacting your desired policy goals, because you've made it clear that you and your block won't be a key to power

You don't need to say fuck you to anyone. Just keep calling them "Bernie Bros", "Russians", or "Bots". That 15% is greater than the % you need to Win and if motivated that Demographic has huge growth potential.

Unfortunately the number of people in that other 55% that are afraid of Bernie and socialism are going to be more important come election time.

Context and timing is everything. Just a question. Do you think trade policy would have been different or even better with a Republican president, at that time in our history?

I was making fun of his logic, not promoting his idea.

But sadly they do try and taking voting rights away from people by kicking them off voting rolls or whatever and it is never fixed in time for the votes to count.

Looks like Bernie didn’t learn anything from 2016 and has decided to stay in the race despite almost no chance of getting a delegate lead.

At least they vote. I'll say that for them. If young people decided to actually go out and vote, they might have more say over the future.

OK...OK....
Time for Bernie Sanders to drop out.
Sorry Bernie but, you’re not energizing the youth vote as you had hoped.
Bernie, you are not creating a revolution nor movement, all you have created is a curiosity.
Face it, thing’s didn’t quite work out as you hoped.
Time to go Bernie.
