Just an anecdote but after 9/11 a Swedish woman kept insisting to me that 9/11 was the fault of the US and it was deserved. I was not in favor of the Iraq invasion but this was very irritating to say the least. The Scandinavians and Dutch are frequently smug about terrorist attacks in other parts of the West. Well guess what, they don't love just because you send care packages and have very lenient immigration policies Sweden.

Although I wish this didn't happen at all, it's better that this happened in Northern Europe than some of the usual targets. All non-muslims are in this together. It sucks if it takes yet another Islamist attack to realize this...

I'm not sure of the outcome or how to stop suicide bombers, but educations and recognition of the Muslim problem/frustration/anger may lead us to conciliation.

I don't think suicide bombing were the norm prior to the invasion of Afghanistan/Iraq.

We already know the problem. Almost all Muslims are in the "not blowing shit up" category. A few crazy ass Muslims are in the "blowing shit up" category. They are fucking crazy, that is the problem. Also the places that we thought wouldn't even support life (the deserts) that they were pushed back to after their lost campaign to take over the world turned out to be atop the world's most valuable natural resource. Let's remove the small number of Swedish troops in Afghanistan for arguments sake, if they are still not satisfied afterwards will you also concede your freedom of speech and the separation of religion from state in order to avoid more violence?

Yes, it is true that there are human rights that being steps on in Vietnam, and there are some friction between the government and religions however they are allow to practice it as well as having churches and temples. South Government (most, I dare say at least 80% of the govern body) happens to be ultra right wing Catholic when they are 7% of the total Vietnamese population, and 80% or more are Buddhist (if I remember correctly the Catholic church claimed that there were almost 11% of the SVN during the 70s were Christian). And, the un-educated moron Nguyen Van Thieu (Catholic) won the SVN presidential election by 103% when not all SVN people voted (don't start me on Nguyen Cao Ky the French & American ass kisser, murderer, and a cowboy)?
