that was a response to your idiotic explanation of an idiotic comparison.

Oh.

and now you're trying to say that masturbating is the same as nursing?

Nope, but it is similar, you are excising essential fluids from your body, one results in an orgasm and requires sexual arousal, the other doesn't.

Pissing is a more accurate comparison.

No, it isn't. Urination and defecation remove waste products from your body. While they are natural occurrences, the products are, for all intents and purposes, garbage. Breast milk is what babies eat to survive. It's not a waste product to be disposed of.

Do you feel the same way about people eating in public? That's all the baby is doing. There's nothing sexual about it. If it was a grown man breastfeeding in public then I could see the complaints. But a baby? Seriously?

I'm fine with the baby's portion of breast feeding, it's injecting food.

However people excreting their bodily fluids (regardless of their use) is disgusting, whether that's pissing, ejaculating or milking.

sneezing is a better comparison than coughing.

you are right, the baby should just starve to death instead of get breastfed

and for the record, I think formula is shit and should be a last resort 😀

If only we had developed some system to bottle human breast milk in the privacy of your own home.

Its too bad theres absolutely no other known way for a baby to ingest its food other than to suckle on an exposed tit. You would think we've worked through those issues by now you know?

If only the TSA let you take drinks through security...seriously I hope you can never reproduce, your level of stupidity should be cleansed from the gene pool.

yes, my SIL has a breast pump, when she came to visit from the across the country she didnt want to have to drag it around and risk it getting broken in transit since they aren't cheap.

You also can't bring outside beverages/liquids into airplanes last time i checked, not that I ever tried breastmilk.

So she could carry a baby around without it breaking but not a breast pump?

Last time you checked did you read that an exception is bringing breast milk to cover the amount of time you are on the flight?

If only you googled what the TSA will let you bring. Breast milk included.

As others have mentioned in the thread, getting any volume of breast milk through TSA is a giant hassle. OK, so mothers could bring an empty bottle and a pump through the security checkpoint and then go to a bathroom and pump some milk before their flight... but that seems just a touch ludicrous to ask of a woman traveling with a baby. What if it's just her and the child? Does she leave the child on the floor while she milks herself? That's not safe in a public restroom. If she does it near the changing table, someone might see a breast, and you know we can't have that. Nope, guess that baby is either going to have to sit on the floor of a public toilet or go hungry... all because you prudes are so repressed that the sight of a breast with a baby latched onto it somehow disgusts you to the point that you aren't able to be on the same plane as someone who is engaging in such despicable behavior.

If only humans had something that allowed them to not look at a particular thing... like if our heads were on a swivel of some kind. Or perhaps if our eyes had some sort of lid that we could close to avoid accidentally viewing something that we didn't want to see. Dammit, science, why are you not working on this?

As "allowed" as it is it's such a pain you might as well not bother when you can just bring it through in it's original container:sneaky: I travel all the time and just making it through without any liquids can make me want to scream sometimes, having to do that while taking a baby through at the same time is ludicrous to expect when there's better alternatives.

Yep having a baby is a pain in the arse. Doesn't mean it's OK to start milking yourself in public.

Please do the world a favor and never have any...keep taking it up the arse and we'll all be better off.

and FWIW feeding a child is not "milking yourself"...if she had just whipped it out and started pumping that's a completely different issue.

If a baby is suckling at its mother's teat, that's hardly someone "milking themselves." I mean, if your only experience with breastfeeding is some chick who was sucking milk from her own teat, then, yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want that allowed.

have fun getting the breast pump through security. It should be a treat. I had a bottle of toothpaste that was exactly 3 fl oz, it also listed in weight in OZ and grams. it clearly said 3oz liquid content on it, as it was released shortly after the ban on real sized anything on an airplane

the idiot working the line didnt even know that fluid and dry OZ was different.

have you flown through the USA lately? I quit. I drove 1400 miles last summer instead of flying just to avoid it

no where did I say she would break the breast pump, the airline employees/TSA however, no trust there.

OK, sorry the baby is milking the mum, not the mum milking herself.
