Funny how one picture of a hot mama with a semi exposed breast out while feeding her baby can keep a thread going.

That being said, what's being lost in this thread is that...wait. No one here is concerned with facts. Or common sense.

I'll just post this; next time you're on a trans-continental flight and there is a screaming baby onboard, just remember this thread and rest comfortably knowing that the puritanical nonsense going on in this country is preventing that mother and the baby much needed rest. And, by proxy, every other person on that plane.

Her? No. The baby? Possibly. As you yourself quoted in your own post, it was hot as hell on the plane. Maybe you don't know much about infants, but it's usually bad to cook them.

....so you're saying that sometimes it is good to cook them? How would you reccomend this? Steam, microwave, broil? Do tell.
 
All it takes is for the pilot to get distracted by looking in the rear view mirror and they would all be doomed... 😉

This. If the worst thing that happens is I see an exposed breast, even if it's not a particularly attractive breast as breasts go, it's been a damned good day. If there's a side benefit of quieting a screaming, hungry baby, so much the better.

Really? Its interesting that you dont think its self centered because it is. If you want to do something that may or may not offend others around you, regardless of what that is, well....Thats self centered.

You assume that because the act in question is a natural act that that should make it ok. Well, thats not quite how it works.

Just to be clear, I wouldnt complain if a woman was breastfeeding in public covered or uncovered. My opinion would be that they should be civil about it and cover up but I sure wouldnt pound the drums of war if they decided not to cover themselves.

Whats surprising is how many dont get this conenction. Well no, actually its not surprising at all.

Where is there a private place to breastfeed on an airplane? A private place that flight attendants will let you access while the plane is taxiing on the tarmac, no less. They won't let you use the lavatory until the plane is in flight... so there's pretty much nowhere.
