Woosta, I know you wont admit it.. but this shows that Fedor is a king amongst cans. He was never the "best". He was simply at the top of the hill in a division in Pride full of losers and freak shows. He hasn't won a relevant fight in years. Most of his fights in pride were against terrible competition.

I know you are a pride nuthugger. Sure pride had some great fights to watch, but that does not mean they were all great fighters.

Just about every prediction you make on here involving MMA is wrong. I hope you aren't betting money on these events because its pretty clear you follow your heart, instead of being objective.

Before you fire back and say Fedor wasn't out. Go back and watch the replay... he was clearly out and not defending himself. You should be happy the ref stopped him because a guy like Hendo can seriously hurt someone who can't defend themselves. Fedor will always have a punchers chance in most of his fights. But he has swiss cheese skin (not his fault) which gets him cut open pretty easy. He sucks at defending against punches and takes way too many chances. He never was the best, and he never will be.

Henderson flipped him, and when Fedor landed on the mat head first, that seemed to have knocked him out.

so the mat should get the credit for the TKO :)

I watched it last night, Henderson very clearly clipped him with a punch. I think Henderson got out from underneath Fedor so fast that it took him by surprise. It looked like it was shaping up to be a great match, then Fedor didn't hold up his end and got caught. Fedor really seems to have declined fast... from arguably one of the very best to 0 for his last 3.

Mma is nothing more than a niche sport. They have too many greedy people at the top for it to become anymore than that. UFC wants $50 an event and out of the last year there's been maybe a handful of good fights. I quit watching a long time ago because I can't afford $50 for each one. Once you quit watching something you become even more detached and now I'm to the point I could give a shit less what happens. Now if they were $12.99 a ppv then I'd more than likely still be watching and I'm sure others would be too. Hell run commercials in between rounds. Make it more available to the common Joe.

I love seeing the bandwagon favorites lose, hopefully anderson silva is next. The bitter, salty tears are always the best from the people who get all butthurt about this stuff

Can't argue with you there. Also, that's the problem with fighting against mediocre fighters for years; that will only pulls one's skills down to their levels no matter how skillful a fighter is. He should have sought out better fighters to fight against the last several years to hone his skills. But then again, he's aging, and that's a bitch. There's no cure for that.

Fedor fans will keep making excuses for Fedor. Bottom line he's lost 3 in a row and was finished in all three.

Anyone complaining it was an early stoppage it wasn't. Fedor ate a huge uppercut that Dan slipped by underneath. Fedor then does a face plant into the mat, arms are lifeless and he eats another 2-3 punches to the ear and head/back of the head. He was defeneless, Herb saw this then stepped it. It doesn't matter if by the time he got there he kinda showed signs of life. He already saw he was out and made the decision to stop it. It was a valid stoppage.

Henderson has always been one of my favorites.

yeah it was a clean stop. When it first happened i thought it was early stoppage. but after watching it a few times you can tell Fedor was out from the upercut then the 2-3 unprotected shots. when the ref steps in fedor snaps out of it.

good stoppage.

Look at how well PRIDE fighters have done in the UFC, besides a few they haven't done so great. Face it, the landscape of MMA has chance since the PRIDE days and most of the PRIDE fighters didn't change with it. They suck.. plain and simple
