Do the sale trading card prices spike or dive on the last day? I got a badge, so I'm just selling the cards as I get them each day. Naturally, if they spike at the end of the sale, I'll hold onto them.

I don't remember how it's gone down in previous sales.

I kind of wish that I wouldn't have bought After Years on sale at GMG a month or two ago. That combination deal is rather nice since I don't own FFIV either.

Steam never hinted they'd have the FF titles on sale, so its understandable. Dont sweat it too much.

They are going to be removed from everyone's inventory when the event is over so I am sure the price will drop as people will try to get rid of them.

Picked up MS Flight Simulator X Steam Edition for $5.
Same here. It seemed like a no brainer.

For a while the versions with the dlc's was only a dollar or two more. Apparently it was a price mistake. I saw it at the lower price but didn't think it was a price mistake so I missed out 🙁.

I recommend DisplayFusion if you got a multimonitor setup. Its pretty awesome for all the stuff it can do. For $6 you can't beat the software for that price. I think its normally 30+ and hardly on sale on steam.

The option to display different wallpaper on each monitor, and it even lets you pick lots of websites to download from randomly, its awesome.. I use Nasa screenshot of the day or something.

I use display fusion for 5760*1200 backgrounds, and to automatically cycle through my folder of such backgrounds every hour. It's great software, highly recommended, especially at this price.

Does it support 5760*1200?

I might grab it anyway. Reviews are amusing: "Got lost. Ran out of gas. Crash landed through a house. Got a badge for landing. Best game ever."

is test drive unlimted 2 worth my time?

I didnt like it.

Too much time spent on fixing up your home, your clothes, and your in-game Facebook nonsense. Also you have to do a LOT of qualifying in order to compete in any races.

Its not nearly as open and fun and drive-friendly as TDU 1. BUT, the world itself looks much nicer, theres a lot more detail, and even though you start on Ibiza theres a point early on that lets you travel to Hawaii and from that point you have double the land area to explore.

The 'game' is just pure stupid, and I hope it doesn't return for the Winter sale. Half the time I can't get into a game, and the whole idea is to get into one and then leave and *profit?

Steam really dropped the ball on this one, imo. I'd rather vote every 8 hours for 1/3rd a card than play 'constant refresh for hours until I'm in a game and then can leave'.Couple of cool ideas, but if this is where Valve is looking toward HL3, then look elsewhere; please.

Only picked up Valkyria Chronicles (not perfect, but totally worth $5), This War of Mine (again worth it, but like a cheap man's Don't Starve (ie. it gets really easy when you figure stuff out)). Kind of like Banished; great at the start, and then 'where is the rest of the game'?

TLDR; fuck you Valve; no gimmicks.

I'm pleasantly surprised. More than worth $5 for sure. I don't remember the last version of Flight Simulator I played, but it definitely didn't have all the missions and different aircraft, and the scenery looks pretty good given its age. Really the missions make a huge difference for me. I never really got into just flying around after the wow factor wore off.

Um did anyone just get 3 free games from the steam sale?? I just got 3 games show already in library on the store page, but not showing in steam list...something weird is going on.

I just got Fight the Dragon, Dammed, and shadow run.

Thanks for your impressions. I haven't played any type of flight game for a very long time. I think the last was Janes WWII fighters on Win 98 :'(.
