YES! Never played a tower defense game before but it is really addictive.

One other thing...it's great for young kids too because there's no gore. Just a lot of flashing lights and explosions which kids love, and the soundtrack is great too. My 6 year old got to the 3rd level with just minimal help from Dad (because kids this young don't yet understand angles, firing range, and tower coverage). He had to be forcibly removed from my computer on Saturday after playing for 45 mins, and was bugging me for the rest of the weekend to let him play! haha

Ended up buying both Trine and Morrowind from the daily deals. So in total, I got 7 games for $46.95 throughout this sale. $20 of that was all from one game (Tropico 3).

Good point, brencat. I installed it at the girlfriend's house for that reason - it's not overly shocking, it's a simple premise and yet has a good deal of complexity, and it's an easily-accessible and addictive introduction to computer gaming.

I just bought Defense Grid now... its so cheap and others here have recommended it so thanks for that!

At this point I have bought:

-Torchlight
-Freedom Force w/ FF 3rd Reich
-Trine
-GTA IV
-Defense Grid

Spent 32 bucks, thats a pretty good deal for all these games IMO

I gotta stop looking at the steam site, cuz i keep thinking i should buy more and more before sale ends, and being here at work, ill never get work done at this point!

If it is still on sale when I get home, I will pick this up. Wanted to buy it yesterday, but only at $5 or less. It was $10 then, which wasn't worth it to me to try out a game, and deal with the insecurity of having that game on Steam.

I did pick up the Crysis pack, The Lucas Arts pack, the WIC pack, The Void, GTA IV, and Gothic 3 for $50. I probably got too much stuff, but I wanted to try all of the above games (Other than Crysis which I already own, but don't know where the CD is). I will wait until I buy a new computer before actually installing most of these though, lol.
