Thing is those 3 games you mentioned all list being compatible with a XP/Vista system, meaning the dev/publisher did update them to some degree to make them playable on a modern system.

I didn't get UT off of Steam, it's my install from 13 years ago that I migrated.

From the bit of Mini Ninjas that I played, it seemed pretty decent. For less than the price of some larger iOS/Android, it should be decent if you enjoy 3D action games.

probably gonna buy it when i get home. I think at this point steam should just charge me a flat monthly rate, because I can almost never say to to a game that i might play for only a few bucks.

between the deal of the day, weekend deal, and then other offers by other websites, theyre getting my money one way or another.

jamestown is sick. not as hard as other bullet-hell games i've played, but that can be a good thing

think i got it during the x-mas sale? beat it with my brother while we were both on vacation. fun stuff - worth the few bucks, imo.

Yeah, I enjoyed Jamestown quite a bit too myself. I got it in the Humble bundle that came out around the holidays. Short, but fun, and meant to be played through multiple times like any game of this genre.

Own the original for years and never played yet, looks like it makes sense to re-buy it here for the two good expansions that normally retail for $10 each.

Edit: third expansion Rebellion is coming out in less than a month that will include all the previous in this package, so that's something to consider.

I don't know if it's a daily deal, but the Serious Sam Complete Pack is 75% off today: $21.75 for Serious Sam First Encounter and Second Encounter (both the original and HD versions included), Serious Sam 2 and Serious Sam 3 BFE. Since Serious Sam 3 costs $39.99 on its own, this seems like a pretty righteous deal for fans of the series.

I played the 1st one and it was quite good, never cared for the others actually

Painkiller is awesome... BUT, save a few bucks and only buy Painkiller Black Edition (which is the original game and it's expansion). The sequels are crap.
