I'm the one doing the eating, and I already said that I cook it "rarer" than typical. Regardless the flavor was awesome, and if anyone actually tasted it without looking I guarantee that they'd love it too.

Nah. It's what he likes, so his cooking skills work for him. Plus, he's got a long enough reach to stab it back down even when it gets across the table.
