Yep. We always know a goosemaster post or thread. The threads are usually blog like in nature and no one really gives a shit except for goose...and the posts are usually worse.

Carry on.

better rekonize:cool:

I have no clue why my name is in my sig, I've done it as long as this board has existed (sigs were a bit of a pain under UBBS). It does come in handy for Google searches though, when trying to find old posts I have made.

I actually seriously prefer it when people sign their names at the bottom, because then at least you don't have to look to the side to see who it was that posted. Yes, I know it's not that much of a strain, but it's just that keeping a sig means that it goes with the flow of the page.

So i ask you atot, why?

Habbit maybe? I am relatively certain that is was clear to every person that I ever sent a card or letter knew who it was from, but I signed those things as well. I am just a wacky, madcap guy I guess.

People do it in emails, especially when they also have a signature detailing their contact information. Sure it looks excessive but what are you going to do?

I don't remember when I started signing my messages with my name. It's just something I do! I wish I had a better explanation, but I don't!!

The only issue I have is that it tends to lead to the obligatory "pics" response to my post.
