Stating one's name after a post

JM Aggie08

Diamond Member
I've always wondered why some members post their names under their post, as if the community had absolutely no clue who they were.

Eg: " I like corn!" -JM Aggie08

So i ask you atot, why?

Well that's because you offended the SugarTits coalition. Don't you remember the whole incident with Mad Max getting pulled over for drunk driving and having to go to counseling?

The key is to promote an unequivocal level of incomprehensibility on a such a consistent basis that everyone who dares read it (re: waste of time)
knows exactly whose fingers are responsible for that pile of festering grammatica

names are for n00bs😎

I place my login name at the end of every post as my "permanent" sig.

The other sig I use as my "temporary" sig, like for linking to my FS threads or other links I find interesting for a few days or weeks.

It is also VERY helpful when conducting searches both in AT and on Google.

I do it for the same reason I (at least attempt to) use correct grammar and punctuation, reasonable sentence structure, and avoid stupid internet slang.

The fact that it pisses a few of you idiots off is just icing on the cake.

Oh and for the record unlike most of the replies you're likely to get in this thread I've signed all of my posts from the very beginning. When you think about it that's what... 11 extra keystrokes times my post count... Going on 400,000 extra keystrokes over the last 8.5 years.
