Look, I think smoking is a disgusting habit (I actually think I have a phobia with cigerettes), but the double speak that came from the states on this issue was disgusting also. They sue to recover "costs" from their citizens smoking, then throw on additional taxes on the product not to force people into stopping smoking, but rather hoping to make more money off of the habit. Honestly, if they wanted people to quit they could have easily outlawed the product. But, now that people are actually quitting or changing brands they are suffering because they spent the money and didn't properly calculate the reduction in smokers. Stupid governments, always over-estimating revenue and under-estimating costs.
