Actually, no. Its a GREAT day. Big Tobacco is EVIL.
If they didn't have so much influence in government, they'd be destroyed. Bastards. My father started smoking when he was 14.
Nobody understood what the dangers were...

There is nothing evil about selling a legal product. Alcohol abuse kills tens of thousands of people a year, yet you never hear the term "Big liquor." Why? Because it hasn't been spun into propaganda, that's why.

There is no reason for tobacco companies to "be destroyed." It has been common knowledge since the 50s (and earlier) that tobacco use is potentially harmful and causes a myriad of health problems in smokers. To blame tobacco companies for the smoker's actions is stupidity. It's as stupid as blaming guns for murder, drug dealers for drug abuse, and casinos for gambling. It's another example of people abdicating their personal responsibility. No one forced your father to smoke, and no one kept him from quitting.

And before you start claiming I don't understand the price people pay for smoking, understand that my mother suffers from COPD and I've had more than my fair share of uncles and aunts die from cancer and emphysema related to smoking.
