That stinks. I played starcraft a couple days ago and I forgot how fun that game was. I wish they would come out with the 2nd one quick.
 
That just sucks. You think they'd get a hustle on making a 2nd one since the first one was so huge.
 
There's a starcraft ghost out for PS2..but thats the closest it gets to SC2, but no doubt a SC2 would rock
 
I am glad they are taking their time.

Blizzard has always had a habit of releasing their games very slowly but releasing a masterpiece when they do.

Oh yeah I totally agree that it will sell huge. I'm just not patient. It's going to be like 10+ years between the first and second one. That's a long wait.

What do you call Warcraft 3 then???

As precursor to WoW, it made sense.. as a standalone game, it wasn't very good...

While I'm in the multitudes hopeing for an SC2 release, It will be a fair bit before it's started let alone released..

They aren't trying to reestabilsh their console market. They hired a third party to make Starcraft: Ghost and rereleased some of their old nintendo games. That hardly constitutes reestabilshment.

Blizzards HQ used to have two teams. One of them was working on Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne; the other on World of Warcraft. TFT has been released and if they aren't disbanded I'd bet they are working on SC2. Blizzard likes to keep their games unannounced for a lot of time. We still don't know what Blizzard north has been doing after they released D2:LoD.

I will look forward to playing this game when it comes out in 10 years. Starcraft was the most fun I've ever had with a computer game bar none. Too bad it will probably be crappy because of all the people that left Blizzard.

That's why I can't wait for a 2nd. I can't ever remember having more fun playing a video game. Having half/full day all-out battles between 8 people. That was just so much fun.
