On your HUD, upper right corner, there is your "health" or armor indicatior in blue. When you are targetting and shooting at an enemy, their health indicator will be below this is red. As the enemy unit takes damage, this red indicator will decrease, giving you an idea of the damage that unit is taking.

Thanks for the thorough reviews guys, its appreciated. I'm deffinitly not getting the game. Part of the reason is because I've got to picky these days with all the great games coming out. Hell, I'm fighting off the urge to buy 40k more than this game. :p

For those of you that bought the game, I hope they address the issues quickly with a patch, kind of a bummer.

well, i bought it today before i read this, and i was a little worried, but i must say i just played a few rounds and i liked it enough. it's a bit crowded with all the NPCs running about, but it's still fun. was playing on a 50 person server (with 38 logged on). it's fast, a lot faster than bf42/v, not quite at ut2k4 speed imho. but fast, i guess because of all the extra players (computer players). i'm still trying to figure the ins and out of gameplay out, but for a first look i rather enjoyed it. looking forward to a patch to clean things up, and hoping that ASE picks up support for it. that'd make finding a server a lot better.

are people playing this on Xbox, ps2 or PC. I would like to hear a discussion on how it plays on the Xbox. Seems to me since bf42 does not exist on the box then you would have to compare it to something else.

After reading this thread I was going to pass on this game but one of my friends brought it over to my pad last night and I had a great time. I don't have xbox live but I do use the linking feature quite a bit. Some games are a waste of time linked (counter strike) but this one is going to be great. Last night we just played slip screen four about 3 hours and if our g/f's hadn't gotten bored we would have played a lot longer.

Personally, I like some chaos when I am in a fighting game and this game had a lot of enemies and a lot of allies. The NPCs did a pretty good job on their own as well. There was one time when I was trying to hold an underground passage against quite a few NPCs and was loosing but then two destroyer rolled up beside me and started unloading. It was pretty fun to watch.

The character selection was limited but I was hoping that eventually we would be able to unlock some more but who knows. The weapons were ok, but I am the kind a person who is fine with a standard rifle. The like the option between a decent snipe that can go auto. The vehicles are just ok. Most of them seem like you would need to use them in more of a defensive strat than offensive. The difficulty level of this game is a little on the easy side. But when my friend and I were doing a co-op as the empire on the hardest one we were only a little disadvantaged.

Also, the empire always is better than the rebels/republic
