Gotta get funding any way they can i guess...have land sales gone in yet? Thankfully it's not P2W eh?

Also they are stalling the refunds. Everybody is told he has to wait for a "refund specialist". I am waiting for a month and a half already.

I wonder if you'd be better off just selling you account on the grey market?
Maybe selling ships on the Grey Market. But I also paid VAT, so I would have to recover that, too (by selling at a higer price). Or at least try.

Selling the account itself is "Black Market".

They sold land claims, but not the actual locations. You will still need to go scout/survey/prospect/research/whatever in the game to find a location that you want to use your claim.

That all being said, I do believe that obviously having a claim early would be more beneficial as the really good spots I would assume are rare. On the same note, we don't know what a "good spot" actually is yet (don't know the long term prices of items/goods/services/raw materials, so it is hard to define what a good spot will be).

All I would say is that I wouldn't hold my breath. They do seem to bleeding at this point (the screw ups on the contracts didn't help). Still hoping they can release a game before they run out of funding.

To be fair, CIG probably doesn't either 😛

I'm disappointed by the scope creep. I just wanted a fun, involved, complex space-game... not whatever this monstrosity has become. Oh well, glad I'm only out $35 I guess.

I'm still holding out hope that the single-player game Squadron 42 will be released and somewhat enjoyable. If I get that, then my $35 was not a complete loss......

Squadron 42 won't be in any playable state this year. Too many things are still missing. And I can't see CIG going much further into next year. They are slow and obese.

The main game (Star Citizen) is in such bad shape that it won't attract any meaningful number of new players (new customers). You can only sell that many ships to the same people, with no real game to use them in.
