Sorry I missed your post. I understand why some would want to kill IC laws but by doing nothing as a replacement it gave some future President the power to thwart investigations into his or her office and the future is now.

If Trump fires Mueller even our toad sucking Repub Congress would be forced to investigate in earnest & Trump can't stop them. Otherwise the Dems will crucify them. Information leakage from that would be massive, of course, Congress being what it is.
