Congress has already called on Mueller to testify to House Armed Services. I imagine there will be a queue.

Compared to the investigatory powers (now lapsed) that Ken Starr had re Clinton, Mueller was constrained in what he could investigate and report on. I think the really important shit is going to come out in the details that he reports to Congress, where he is under no such restraint.

My guess:

The report says several people, including Ivanka, Jr, Kushner, etc. committed various crimes. They are recommended for prosecution, perhaps have already been indicted under seal, but Mueller says it will be futile as they will be pardoned.

Trump will not be recommended for prosecution on "collusion." Available evidence will indicate a high likelihood of wrongdoing by various parties associated with both Trump and the campaign but no direct evidence.

Trump will be concluded to have obstructed justice but prosecution will not be recommended due to DOJ protocol on a sitting president.

Trump will claim vindication. "No collusion!" He will spin the crimes of his family by saying they were tricked into everything. He will downplay the obstruction of justice crimes by saying the result of the collusion investigation indicates the investigation never should have occurred, thus obstructing the investigation was justified.

Democrats will point to the obstruction conclusions as proof that Trump is unfit for office.

Senate Republicans will shield Trump from any immediate repercussions.

House Democrats will continue to downplay impeachment.

Senate Republicans will continue to watch polls closely. If Trump's favorability gets a bounce they will play the long game and push back some on his agenda. If he stays in the dumps and there is a likelihood of losing 2020 they will jam through as much legislation and as many appointments as possible.

If Democrats win the White House and Senate in 2020 pretty much everything will come out, eventually. Most of the major players will be indicted. Trump will die of poor health before facing any consequences.

If Democrats win the White House but not the Senate the Republicans will go back into full obstruct mode.

If Democrats win the Senate but not the White House Trump, assuming he is the candidate, will be impeached.

If Republicans take the White House and Senate there will be four more years of clown fuckery.

Are we happy or sad there was no collusion found ?

Well as we haven't seen the report we don't actually know what they've found yet. However we do know that Russia was attempting to influence the election and that Trump and senior officials have repeatedly lied about their connections with the Russian government and actively attempted to obstruct the investigation.

It's just a question of whether there is enough evidence to prove collusion or whether it's 'merely' more generic corruption and incompetence.

Cult45 and Team Treason will be sunk by SDNY if Mueller doesn't do it. There is simply too much contact with Russia for it to be innocent, and then there is Trump acting and sounding guilty as hell. People who have nothing to hide don't try to derail investigations, they don't obstruct justice. Smart people don't admit to it on TV either.

so barr shut it down as soon as he became the attorney general.

It just means this is a milestone. It's not an end.

There are investigations in the SDNY and in Congress, plus they still have cooperating witnesses and ongoing trials.

This is not over by any means. Just a different phase. It cannot be stopped.

Will you be angry or remorseful when conspiracy is found?

I'm not sure how I would feel. If nothing was found I suppose I would feel some relief. I don't think I would be angry if they find something. I didn't vote for trump and certainly did not intentionally defend him so why would I experience remorse? More like smug since I already know that anyone that trusts any politician is a fool. If Clinton got elected we would be going through the same shit with the Steel dossier and Uranium one and god knows how many skeletons the Clinton's have in the closet by now.(Im not saying this is okay, just that it would have happened).

LOL. Its like watching a football game when I don't really like either team.

Pelosi & Schumer have released a joint statement:

“Now that Special Counsel Mueller has submitted his report to the Attorney General, it is imperative for Mr. Barr to make the full report public and provide its underlying documentation and findings to Congress. Attorney General Barr must not give President Trump, his lawyers or his staff any ‘sneak preview’ of Special Counsel Mueller’s findings or evidence, and the White House must not be allowed to interfere in decisions about what parts of those findings or evidence are made public.

“The Special Counsel’s investigation focused on questions that go to the integrity of our democracy itself: whether foreign powers corruptly interfered in our elections, and whether unlawful means were used to hinder that investigation. The American people have a right to the truth. The watchword is transparency.”

Does anyone think that Barr won't give Felonious-D a heads-up on Mueller's findings? I think this report leaks like a teenage hooker in Trump's Moscow suite.

One thing we do know for sure is that Cheeto Jesus has a solid floor on the number of people who believe that he can do no wrong. His Christian Talibangical base believes that he has been chosen by Gawd to do His works, thus he has been forgiven of all sin since he is now an instrument of their precious Gawd. I am not joking about this, they really believe that. Hell, here's Pompeo telling the religious zealots at the Christian Broadcasting Network that his boss is Gawd's tool to defend Israel. Here, I'll link it with their headline:

EXCLUSIVE Why Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Says Trump Is a Possible Queen Esther, Poised to Defend Israel

Don't expect much???
I'd say don't expect anything.....

AG Barr, if there were a smoking gun in the report, Barr would no doubt redact anything and everything accusing of Donald Trump simply because.... legally a sitting president can not be indicted. And thus AG Barr will argue any and all incriminating evidence as moot since as president Donald Trump can not be held accountable, regardless.

If there is a smoking gun, none of us including the US congress will find out until Donald Trump is long gone from office.
And this republican controlled congress would be just fine with that.
I say "republican controlled" because even with a democratic house, that house was castrated the day they took control.
They can do nothing more than threaten.

So, why rock the boat if instead AG Barr can simply take a marker and redact whatever he wants to redact from the Mueller report.
Or should we say everything that Donald Trump instructs Barr to redact.
We all know how this goes....

THIS was the whole reason Donald Trump chose William Barr in the first place. Now we know....
Technically, congress can do nothing to Donald Trump.
So in Barr's mind it would be Barr's duty to protect Donald Trump from this report.

If we want justice and accountability, America would have to move to New Zealand. Or to some other country where people still have a brain, a soul, and a heart. And know the difference between right and wrong..
We're never going to find justice nor accountability over here....
Not while Donald Trump has his "protectors" surrounding him.

No matter what way this report turns out, the proverbial shit is about to hit the proverbial wind turbine. The rest of this presidency is going to be defined by this document and how the pols and the public react to it. In other words, it's going to be a non-stop, mud slinging, conspiracy mongering shit show for at least the next 18 months. What boggles my mind is to think that it's going to get worse than it is now.

What? It aint leaked yet?
Wonder if this is why Rosenstein stayed on, cause he knew this report was coming?
Does this mean that Mueller is done? Is the special counsel dissolved?

I think this is a pretty good take on it, saying it's the end of the beginning, not the beginning of the end.

https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opini...se-ag-barr-end-beginning-trump-not-ncna986041

In short, Democrats in Congress are gearing up to fulfill their oversight responsibilities in a manner entirely consistent with what Republicans called for during the Obama years. As House Republicans declared in 2010, “Congress is constitutionally obligated to provide thorough oversight of the Executive Branch. This obligation is recognized by scholars and the Courts and by the American public that expects its federal government to root out waste, fraud, abuse, mismanagement, and misconduct.”

I would say the best way to know if the Oozing Orange Hemorrhoid see the report is to watch his Twitler account. It's been strangely silent since the report dropped so he's due for an outburst soon. If he starts screaming at Mueller then we know the news is good for us. If he starts ranting about how the report says that there was no collusion found then he must have seen the word "no" on page 12 and "collusion" on page 83.

Either way, watch for the outburst!
