Soy milk is good - what do you think about it?

episodic

Lifer
I bought some chocolate soy milk on a whim - and it is actually good. Is the vanilla soy as good? What about the plain?

Now I have to admit I did like chocolate soy milk, since it kind of masks the flavor.

I had regular soy milk a long time ago, but it did not taste very good.

Just buy whichever is cheaper at the store next time...

its bean juice
but i drink it all the same
but i don't use it to replace milk. its just juice
it goes horribly with coffee, don't even try.

I've tried soy milk a few times as a substitute for regular milk since I'm lactose intolerant but I never really liked it.

i drink light soy milk all the time these days.

it takes a while to get used to in some things because we have been trained since being small lil kids to love big fat cows milk, so give it some time if u can.

its pertty good.

Its not Soy Milk...........it's Soy Juice!

But I agree....the choco soy from Costco is good....better than the 'nilla.

I think the chocolate silk soy milk tastes like Yoohoo... so I dont think its that bad... nilla.. bleh... plain.. Barfo!

Soy milk is fucking disgusting. It tastes absolutely NOTHING like real milk. Even if you don't care if it tastes like real milk it still tastes nasty.

Real milk tastes awful.

I drank soymilk for a long time because that was all that was available.

Now I drink mostly rice milk, sometimes almond or hemp milk.

I've only had it once, but I liked the taste... but I really don't drink milk that often.

once in awhile I'll get the craving for cold cereal, but usually, I only use milk for cooking, in which case I buy as little as possible (I like those small cartons like they gave with school lunches when I can find them).

Interesting this topic came up as yesterday I was doing some research on dairy.

Look here.

I know to take everything with a "grain of salt" but... still.

A little bit of background: I have had acne of one sort or another since i was 14. I saw countless doctors, tried ever med (besides Accutane) out there, OTC and scripts. NOTHING seemed to work. About a year ago, I went to another dermatologist and he said stop drinking milk. I thought he was a quack, but because I did not want to go on Accutane, I decided it could not hurt to try. Sure enough, within two months, all acne was gone. It was amazing... espeically since I did not change my diet in any other way. I also stopped taking all persecription meds too.

Almond Chocolate Milk is even better than Soy Chocolate Milk, try that next time you're at the store! Make sure you chill it first though!
