1. Why would we wander into someone's back yard?
2. What is a "nutless chicken sh!t hunter"??

Or are you just an anti-hunter type of person? I believe in fair pursuit... Any animal has a fair chance, and all shots are humanely taken... if a shot has a risk of only wounding an animal, it is not taken. And, compared to eating beef, chicken, etc., I know that any game animal I've shot has not been pumped full of chemicals, growth hormones, and antibiotics so it can go from birth to death to your dinner table in as little time as possible. AND, I can confidently eat the meat I get without any worries of E-Coli bacteria. Where does E-Coli bacteria come from? It comes from the processing plant getting sh!t on the meat that you eat.

The game you kill may be infested with disease and bacteria, though. Cheers.

I know what you would do not a dam thing that?s what. You just have a bug up your butt about hunting and felt like letting your balls hang out. If you?re a Vegetarian go chew on a few carrot sticks and feel good because you told it to us what was what, but if you eat meat and are just felling sorry for Bambi think about what goes on in the farm were you buy your meat from they kill animals just like hunters do but they don?t cage up their food for its whole limited existence. :)

As any ranch raised animal may also. Most rely on cooking to solve that problem.

You could say the same about any girl you pick up at a club. Cheers. :)

This is true, however E-Coli is going to be present in the fecal matter of wild animails too.
As for squirrels there not exactly on the endagered species list yet and at least he is
taking the time to properly teach his son how to use firearms..

Yeah, I know that wild animals may also have diseases...... But, if you want to see something really gross, you have to see an animal with botfly larva....
I didn't find any really good pics right away with a google search... I'll have to look tomorrow. I need to finish typing a physics test at the moment...

But, I take a little more time (probably a LOT more time) and care in preparing the meat than they do in the meat plants :)

Its good to teach a child to shoot at a young age. Especially if you think he's going to be jobless and homeless when he grows up.

Oct 15 bow hunting season opens.... I'll be in pursuit of a particular 400 pound plus black bear this year

See the things is I can (sort of ) understand and accept the killing of squirrels for food - if it was good enough for elvis then it cant be that bad, but I find the above just wrong - nothing personal but heres hoping the bear gets a damn good swipe in and shows you a lesson in respect for nature.

I'm rooting for the bear ... hopefully the bear'll be like :

My cub (1.5 yrs old) is finally getting the hang of hunting... grampa bear sent him into the woods on his own for his first time... he returned a short time later with 3 male humans (that's all that's in season right now... women and children start Oct 1). So, our family gets to have our first dinner provided by my cub tomorrow night (I can hear some of you saying ewwww already... human meat is actually quite tasty; tastes somewhat like moose.) The best part of it is that my son can responsibly use his claws & canines. He's been slashing and biting since he was 6 months old and can rival just about anyone in this forest for biting and slashing.

<-- disagrees with hunting unless you actually eat what you kill. If you do that, then it's no different than going to the grocery store and buying food. I mean, they had to kill that cow before you could buy that steak.

I remember when I was 13 and first provided my family with food....by visiting the supermarket....fail to see the purpose in going out shooting stuff......especially a fecking squirrel.

My brother kills dozens of squirrels each summer, they are a HUGE problem. You city dwellers will likely never understand that. These aren't cute semi-tame squirrels that you feed in the park, these are a massive (and hungry) population.

They consume a significant portion of the nut crops. Farmers let my brother go hunting in their orchards, he shoots them in the head from so far away that I can't even see the damn things. His 20 gauge cuts them in half, usually he uses a .22 or a pellet gun. Even the pellet gun is more than capable of removing the back of their skull on the way out. I think he stopped counting at 50 last summer.

Coyotes are the same way, though they are a lot harder to kill. They're so rarely out in daylight that it's virtually impossible to see them & have a gun at the same time.
