Well, it's employee parking and I am the one who lets the employees in/out. I didn't let too many people go before I went myself. I know there were cars on either side when I parked and the same cars are usually there at the end of the day (very few are allowed to go at the same time so there is very little change). It was very likely one of them even if they repositioned their car (what they should have done in the first place).

Perhaps the note-writer was of ...erm... excessive girth?

I was going to suggest the OP carry it with him and place it on another well parked vehicle.

I was already planning to do it to a coworker who drives the same car I do and is already aware of the note. 🙂

Yeah. I used to police an underground parking garage. People most often parked like that in the spaces next to support columns because they had to enter more straight than if it were not there. My take? Even if it takes multiple maneuvers, JUST DO IT AND GET IT OVER WITH! Anything else is just laziness.

FWIW, those spots are where the 220/110v plugs are for electric cars to charge. No idea why the apartment complex didn't determine if someone actually needed one of those spots before assigning spots though. I don't need it as mine isn't a plug-in.

What I hate is being the first in a parking lot in winter. I don't remember where all the lines are so I just go by the lamp posts if any. In some cases this is not the right way to go and then everyone else parks and I come back to my car and I'm the one that looks like an asshole. 😛

The worst was when it was heavily snowing at school one time. I was late to class and no one had popped their wipers up so they wouldn't freeze, but I popped mine up - making it the only car in the row with the wipers up.

Some jerk put them down before I got out of class out, out of spite I suppose. Yup, they got frozen to the windshield and I had to scrape them out. People can be so childish sometimes 😛

I still do. Even if I carried a cell phone I can't text on those tiny keys but I never have one anyway, easier and faster for me just to have paper and a pen if I need it. Mostly have it in case I get in a wreck or need to get someone's plate.
I also still carry jumper cables, flashlight and everything else most never seem to have in their car.

Rarely does anyone laziness not make more work for someone else or end up costing everyone else more money.
