Makes me laugh every time!!

OP is smack dab in between the lines. You couldn't have left more room unless you drove a motorbike. If that douche nozzle couldn't squeeze out of their car, they really need to join a gym as their New Year's resolution.

Since the person left a not, is it possible that person had already left and was subsequently replaced? Either way, you're well within the spot, so you can burn the letter or frame it, whichever comes to mind first.

Well, it's employee parking and I am the one who lets the employees in/out. I didn't let too many people go before I went myself. I know there were cars on either side when I parked and the same cars are usually there at the end of the day (very few are allowed to go at the same time so there is very little change). It was very likely one of them even if they repositioned their car (what they should have done in the first place).

Perhaps the note-writer was of ...erm... excessive girth?

...and he/she blames ME.

I was going to suggest the OP carry it with him and place it on another well parked vehicle.
I was already planning to do it to a coworker who drives the same car I do and is already aware of the note. 🙂

How long have you been driving with that note on your windshield?

Wipers were in use on the way in due to rain, so no longer than I left it parked.

It does! It looks like every other mall in America.

Every one with a Dillard's (Dillard's standard arch window storefront).

You park fine. Much better than the asshole who parks next to me at my apartment..

I'm the Prius.

Yeah. I used to police an underground parking garage. People most often parked like that in the spaces next to support columns because they had to enter more straight than if it were not there. My take? Even if it takes multiple maneuvers, JUST DO IT AND GET IT OVER WITH! Anything else is just laziness.

But, laziness is the first step towards efficiency. Granted, the second step is to make sure your laziness isn't creating more work for someone else, but laziness still isn't such a bad thing.

In today's world of smartphones, I am surprised someone doesn't come up with a Craigslist-like site with local sections for others to post bad parking behavior. It would be especially fun to include tags and let the insurance industry amend their policies. Everyone needs a dashcam.

lol, special parking for hybrids? along with the special road lanes?

man i cant stand CA

FWIW, those spots are where the 220/110v plugs are for electric cars to charge. No idea why the apartment complex didn't determine if someone actually needed one of those spots before assigning spots though. I don't need it as mine isn't a plug-in.

A tad crooked but who cares if you're in the lines, and right in the middle.

What I hate is being the first in a parking lot in winter. I don't remember where all the lines are so I just go by the lamp posts if any. In some cases this is not the right way to go and then everyone else parks and I come back to my car and I'm the one that looks like an asshole. 😛

The worst was when it was heavily snowing at school one time. I was late to class and no one had popped their wipers up so they wouldn't freeze, but I popped mine up - making it the only car in the row with the wipers up.

Some jerk put them down before I got out of class out, out of spite I suppose. Yup, they got frozen to the windshield and I had to scrape them out. People can be so childish sometimes 😛

You're right: I was. 🙁

Self-ownage of the year right there.

In all seriousness, it was a decreasing angle to compensate for the even more crooked car to my right so that his error is compensated for in a way that doesn't cascade equally down the row. 😛

The fact that someone:

1. Carries a pen
2. And a pad of paper

= lulz

I still do. Even if I carried a cell phone I can't text on those tiny keys but I never have one anyway, easier and faster for me just to have paper and a pen if I need it. Mostly have it in case I get in a wreck or need to get someone's plate.
I also still carry jumper cables, flashlight and everything else most never seem to have in their car.

Rarely does anyone laziness not make more work for someone else or end up costing everyone else more money.

oh i see, i guess that makes sense then

Slightly off kilter, but your car is small enough to park like that and STILL take up less width than all those around you. You did fine, who ever left it is an idiot.
