Someone thinks I can't park.

What am I doing wrong?

Note: I seriously had to fight the urge to end this with a rage-face.

You really should learn to park. You are a horrible person and should be killed with fire.

I have no idea. It looks fine to me. The cars on either side of you were closer to the lines than you were.

Since the person left a not, is it possible that person had already left and was subsequently replaced? Either way, you're well within the spot, so you can burn the letter or frame it, whichever comes to mind first.

I don't see the problem there, but I'm assuming the note was written by someone who had already left (since they were complaining about having a hard time getting into their car)

don't pay it much mind, people are retarded. I got a nasty-gram a few weeks ago for parking in one of the extra large spaces in the municipal lot across the street from my house. the unspoken rule is to leave those spots open for trucks and all the random commercial vehicles which seem to fill the lot from god knows where every night, but I'll be damned if I'm parking blocks away from my house just because the last open spot in the lot is one of the bigger spots.

Not quite straight in the lines. B-

I know. I chalk this up to it being an unfamiliar car. Ichinisan has my car out of state right now so I took his car to work this morning. The body part of the door makes a slant where it meets the window which creates an a strange optical illusion when looking at a vehicle next to you (your lines appear straight with theirs when you are actually angled). In the past this has caused me to be way off (this was actually an improvement).

your car seems to be compact, so not as wide as average car, i am not getting it. maybe somebody played joke on you - somebody moved the note from different car to yours

Bet it was under some else's wiper for a crappy parking job and he just stuck it under your wiper to screw with you. Because most of the crappy parkers don't care and are jerks anyway.

That's pretty funny. In my imagination it was the woman who parked the Camry.

I was going to suggest the OP carry it with him and place it on another well parked vehicle.

Parking looks fine to me. When someone does a shitty job parking, I take particular pleasure in parking accurately between the lines, and not giving them much room due to their shitty job. I can almost guarantee they care more about their car's paint and body than I do mine. Hopefully it encourages them to do better next time.

I think someone near you had it placed on his/her windshield by someone else. The recipient assumed YOU had put it there and tried to "return" the note to you.

I agree 100% with this statement..

many times when I am out shopping I always seem to encounter some self-appointed parking lot police wannabe idiot who finds it necessary to give me shit for parking in a handicapped parking space.

every one of those encounters, the idiot is whining that I can't park there because I don't have one of them hang tag placards they seem to give out like candy in my state.

I'll let them rant a bit then I interrupt and tell the idiot I don't have the placard because I don't need one (I actually do have one but it's in my other car). the reason I don't need one is simple, I have a handicapped license place obtained through the VA.

even after I point that out, some people still insist I need the hang tag.

people are idiots.

In parts of Germany, you left too much space. I once drove a minivan and parked it in a slot. There was another van later who parked on the adjacent slot, and believe me when I say, that there was only 6 inch of clearance between the two cars. The other driver just got out of the rear door.

As long as the cars do not scratch each other and there's a way to get in and out, people seem cool about it.
