Get some camera's, like 2 fake ones, the ones that are in obvious places and a couple of live ones. Get yourself a (real looking) gun, and if you see them again, confront them with the gun CLEARLY visible. They'll scatter like the rats they are.

Another dumb idea. . .what good is a fake gun going to do if theirs turn out to be real and shooting breaks out? And walking out with it in plain view is just inviting trouble. You should NEVER draw a gun unless you are about to use it.

To elaborate on this.

He'd be brandishing (even though it would be a fake gun) which is illegal.

Also, if he drew on the kids, the kids would be within their legal rights to use lethal force and kill him.

Yeah that's what I'm starting to think along the lines of. Carrying guns around a neighborhood spraypainting political anti-Bush messages on cars could be construed as terrorist-like activity. Maybe reporting the incident to homeland security would be in order. Maybe they will take the investigation more seriously than the local police.

do you really think Fvck-W was meant to construe a political message?

Why not f bush or f george....

I thought maybe they made a typo since they were writing in another language... Fvck U vs Fvck W.... who knows...

I see. . .so it could just be a poorly spraypainted U? Or is it clearly a W? I hang out in the Politics and News forum a lot where the term "Fvck W" has a definite political connotation. As in George W. Bush.

[Edit] sorry just went back and looked at the photo links. Definitely looks like a W. . .could be george w. or maybe he was about to spray "Fvck Whitey?" or something like that and got interrupted maybe by a passing car or something? I dunno since you didn't mention if these kids were white, black, hispanic, or what.

actually, looking at the 2nd pic, it's not Fvck -W it's Fvck 'W'. Going by that, I would go with my initial impression that they are choosing to call themselves 'W'.

Of course, they did spell resistance wrong ("resisance"), so they may not realize the implications of the single quotes afterall. Who knows.

Or he might have been in the middle of spraying some word that starts with "W" and got interrupted somehow. . .

I'd say to call your local cops, if they can't figure out what to do then call the next higher police department (Maybe like district police chief, i don't know much about the hierarchy) and tell them about the situation. If it were my house and my neighborhood, I wouldn't be waiting to be threatened again or waiting for them to vandalize more of my property.

Someone else said to get a gun and 'brandish it', and someone else said don't do that because it would be asking for them to use theirs and they'd have a legal right to. Did I miss something or weren't THEY the first ones with large weapons on his property? Wouldn't that put him in the same right to USE a large weapon if they were carrying them around again?

Yeah I think his point was, if you have a gun, dont pull it out unless you are about to shoot

Contact the British police. They know how to deal with these little terrorist. Nothing better than 3 or 4 gaping holes in their little useless pieces of sh*t heads. These kids have already selected their path in life. You might as well end it for them now so all the other yet-to-be-victims do not have to suffer.

I don't think it was established whether or not they were brandishing guns ON his property for one thing. But the person who suggested brandishing a firearm was suggesting using a fake one. I said, a fake gun wouldn't do any good if the bad guys turned out to have real guns and decided to start shooting. If you're gonna do it, use a real gun and DO NOT walk out with it in view unless you are definitely about to discharge it. If I saw kids or anybody old enough to be intentionally dangerous with a gun brandishing one ON my property, I would sure as hell walk out firing. Not just brandishing. My lead would be flying the moment I set foot out of my front door and had clear line of sight. But you gotta be real careful because if it was discovered or thought that you premeditatedly lured them onto your property knowing they had guns so that you could shoot them, there could still be problems for you.

Im calling the cops again, Im not going to put up with sh|t like this in a decent neighborhood

SprayPain1.jpg

SprayPaint2.jpg

If this ever happens to me these are the steps that I would take :

1- Give the car a $ 2000 pearl White paint job.

2- Head to the local hunting sports shop and stock up on ammo.

3- Head to the old shed and grab my extra long barrel rifle and wear my camo gear.

4- Park the car in the middle of the drive way , and make sure tah tI have all lights on and maybe add a couple of projectors to grab attention from the dumb kids.

5- Hide in the bush for 5+ hours untill I see something that walks on 2 legs going near my car.

6- I wait untill I hear a spray paint sound pssssssst

7- BOOYA I will jump from the bushes and fill their bodies with nice hot lead pellets.

8- Grab the car and head to the borders, and meet some guy named Carlito the snake eye, and give him $ 1000 for a new ID

9- Ofcourse I would fill up Carlito the snake eye with pellets after I am done with him, get my money back , get carlitos body then put him in my car and burn it. ppl would think I am a gonner

10- Go move to a better state / country where no punked a$$ kids are allowed to go anywhere near my car.

They had stored guns on my property that they had stolen (in the weeds near the side of the house) and then came back and got them, and i saw them running off my lawn with guns in their hands.

IMO they crossed the line when they stored weapons on YOUR property. I'm not a homeowner (yet), but this is what immediately comes to mind:

1. Call the police and file a report, take pictures and have the police stop by before you move anything.
2. Pony up the $ for a good security system: motion-triggered lights around your house (front and back-yards and any hidden paths) and at least two cameras discreetly placed. Install them at night or under some other cover so it's not obvious they're being installed. The increase in property values that would eventually result and the safety of mind are worth the cost.
3. Invest in a shotgun (12 or 20 gauge) and learn how to trap shoot. IMO. I'm partial to shotguns as those are my main firearms hobby. You could go the pistol route but honestly, if you're not experienced with target shooting you'd have to put in some time to become a decent shot. And, IMO, nothing has the shock value of a shotgun action being cocked. I'd speak to other homeowners and CCW-permit holders about this topic, as it is a big step to take if you're so inclined (as I am). If you pull a firearm for self-defense you should be confident and prepared to take a life.

That's my opinion, but I don't take lightly to people stealing or defacing my property.

I am a very good shot with a shotgun. Went to PA and visited my father after not having gone target shooting in 4 years. I out shot him with the shotgun on clay pigeon shooting, and with a scoped 22 trimmed a 2 inch branch by trimming it from the bottom up at its base.

I hunted when i lived in Pa and owned a BB rifle and pistol which I learned to shoot with. A pistol is something Ive wanted for a while, and I figure this is an excuse to get it.... plus easier to load and i get more shots normally....
