Some punks spray painted my car.

Go to the parents house with the vandaled car and tell them one of the three kids did this. As soon as the paretns start defending their kids instead of beating them, you know who did it.

And how do the parents know he's not lying and trying to get money?

Personally, I say get some webcams, re-paint the car and leave it where it was. If the fvckers do it again, you'll have hard evidence of vandalism. If they bring guns with them, so much the better. Also, buy a gun yourself. Just in case. Get an Auto or Shotgun and that'll scare the crap out of them if it comes to that. U can also request police protection.

Edit: Also, if u could find the guns they hid, and record it on camera with your wife watching, they're screwed.

Also, were any of these kids uber-goths or ghetto looking? If so, be VERY careful. Goths have been behind almost every school shooting from Columbine to the Indian Reserve a few months ago. (Even Malvo was something of a goth).

get a cheapie webcam or something connected to a computer...and setup a program that only records when it detects movement...

Sad thing now and days. Now if the parents take the belt to the kids butt for doing something bad. The kid can get the parents in trouble if they wanted too.

Back when I was a kid the dad could take the belt to the kids butt. Nothing the kid could really do about it back then. You just tryed your best not to make your parents upset.

If you can do it, try like placing a old computer close the car in question. Then run a small web cam to the outside and face it to the car or ect. Then have it record video or take pics every few secs. Course the area outside will have to have enough lighting for it.

"Viva La Resistance" was used in a Southpark episode. Not sure where else tho.

This vandalism sounds like the work of the punks in question. Hopefully they'll have an accident with the gun or overdose or die in a single car accident.

Personally, I'd turn the car around and spraypaint "Do it again, punks" on the hood and tape down a pictar of myself holding the most imposing assault weapon I can find to pose with... In my case, probably an M2HB down at the local gun shop.

Purchase M4A1, strip it & field clean it in your front yard when those kids are home. Don't ever look at them, that way they think you're nuts. Then it will all be over soon after. Oh and buy a home alarm system if you haven't already, these kinds of people steal regularly....trust me.

I am a very good shot with a shotgun. Went to PA and visited my father after not having gone target shooting in 4 years. I out shot him with the shotgun on clay pigeon shooting, and with a scoped 22 trimmed a 2 inch branch by trimming it from the bottom up at its base.

I hunted when i lived in Pa and owned a BB rifle and pistol which I learned to shoot with. A pistol is something Ive wanted for a while, and I figure this is an excuse to get it.... plus easier to load and i get more shots normally....

don't buy a handgun right now..you will get owned.

but hire some sort of Private Investigator or pay a security company to hang around (discretely) for a week or so, and catch them in the act (with either photos or outright arresting them on the spot)
