Shouldn't that be enough? Love and devote life to that which is all around us, no worship needed. More importantly, love and devote ones life, selflessly, to the progress and betterment of our species as a collective whole.

Religious rules and traditions in general have nothing to do with God, the bible is explicitly against such things. This is why the catholic church burned so many Christians at the stake, to avoid these ideas from spreading. God only wants love from you. That is everything, no tiny text. He doesn't care how old you think the earth is or even if you think evolution is correct 🙂

Exactly. A person here or anywhere could get a random normal, nice, good working 41 year old married guy with a family, that has never been in trouble with the law before, to murder another person if they really wanted to. It happens all the time.

If you guys are so sure of your faith, and you're knowingly going into a community where there are non-Christians *and* you're trying to preach to them, how is it that you become so offended when people tell you you're wrong? Isn't your faith more solid than that?
