The sandwiches at FSD are considerably better than McL's, not saying Mcl's isn't pretty tastey and decently priced. JJ's aren't quite what they used to be (over the last four years).

I also can't say enough about FSD's backed potato soup. It is heavenly. Panera's got nothing on it.

BTW... when are we going to have a PSU meetup??

You know where I'll be 8-close. Dollar herpes! 2$ Sierra Nevada Pale pints .. 2.5 well liquor 9-1, and whatever the daily beer is. On, Atlas' Soundtrack is playing tonight.. they're a nice change of pace.

I like mclanahans because I can get an 8 inch with whatever toppings I want for < $3. I'm about to head down to the darkhorse for wings...

Damn right they are. Say hi to Mandy and Dan for me. ;) Mmm.. the Darkhorse. We should have a PSU meet, even if just for a beer at a basement bar (a la the Darkhorse or .. I dunno .. the new smoke free Zeno's?).

get some friends and you will understand the cell phone.

Now too many are rude on their cells and why they are getting banned in many places. You don't need to shout out about bullshit like 'I am going to put $100k into that stock this weekend' or 'I am going to get that fucker Tito, he don't know my people' when you pulled up in a 1984 Chrysler New Yorker without half it's paint and 4 mismatched tires/wheels.

Normally the cell phone user wouldn't take a non-important call in this situation, but if he did have one...he'd step aside and flag others to go in front.

The others should have enough respect to allow him to blend back into line once his situation was resolved.

If you have emergency work, it's ok to see a movie...just keep the phone on mute and take it outside prior to finding out who's calling. If you are expecting more than 1 - 2 calls tops you should be somewhere else.

I don't really think thats pwnage, but if I'm on my cell phone while waiting for something (which happens all the time), I tell the person I'll call them back.

That isn't pwnage, but the guy has no manners.

He doesn't have manners? You don't have much manners either talking on your phone in line.

Whats wrong with talking on the cell phone in line. Is everyone supposed to shuffle forward and stare at their feet?

Exactly, how is it different than reading a magazine or newspaper in line?

I'm not going to call someone while I'm in line, but if I'm on the phone as I walk into a store, I'll continue my conversation until I have to interact with the person I need to talk to. But making the person who you need to talk to feel like they are interrupting you and your conversation, thats rude.

Seriously what is wrong with these restaurants and shit getting pissed at customers being on cell phones? If I remember correctly the person behind the counter is there to SERVE the customer. Just because he's on the phone doesn't make him a dick. What if the person that was next didn't know what sandwich they wanted? Would that be rude because the poor deli employee would have to wait for a decision to make a sandwich? Only ownage I see here is the deli losing a customer due to their employees being self-righteous jackasses.

Why is it so hard to stay off the f'ing phone when you're standing in line with a bunch of people who don't want to listen to your inane conversation? Newsflash -- you aren't that important, and neither is the call. If it is that important of a call, why are you standing in a public place having it in front of a captive audience?

I fail to understand why everyone feels the compulsive need to yap incessantly on a cell phone. All these conversations and nothing being said.

Nothing wrong with that until it becomes your turn to order and your still on the cell phone.

You are extremely ignorant to business needs and emergencys if you believe all are confidential.

Some people really are THAT IMPORTANT.
