for reference, my apt in LA was 2150/mo total (had 1 roommate). my HOUSE rent is 1350/mo, and I have a garage.

For reference, that's what I'm paying for rent (in Santa Monica) just by myself, and it's totally worth it! Every single weekend is just so damn amazing out here.
