You have a point, but I'll take a shittastic MD summer for a chance at having fall, and not looking at stupid palm trees for jul.

You look at the trees, I'll look at the hot wommenz in skirts/shorts/dresses that are way too short.

You won't believe this, but there's places online; I shit you not, where you can see women without clothes on at all! I know! I didn't believe either, but I certainly found them, and I didn't have to deal with oppressive weather to see them.

OP is a jerk and clearly timed this post intentionally to coincide with the cold front coming through the midwest today.

>80F=oppressive. 70F-80F=uncomfortable. Sweet spot is 50F and overcast if you aren't doing real work, with 40F being ideal for hard work.

lol; thanks, I needed the laugh.

I'll tell building maintenance that the 74' the HVAC systems are set at should be considered uncomfortable and borderline oppressive. Will make a suggestion that everything should be set to 40', since we aren't doing real hard work here.

50-60 is great though, just take a light jacket and if you decide to do something active all you have to do is take it off. Over in so cal (outside the dead of winter) you have to get naked just to not die of heat stroke during a walk in the park.

Have fun in three months when it's 120 degrees outside.

I CAN'T WAIT, the hotter the better. Nothing touches a So Cal summer day. I will be swimming and BBQ'ing and loving every second of it. You couldn't pay me to live somewhere where the people think 40f is nice weather.

You also have to trade away culture if you move to Texas.

texas - where you can trade a little bit of temperature for a lot of land and space

for reference, my apt in LA was 2150/mo total (had 1 roommate). my HOUSE rent is 1350/mo, and I have a garage.

I wouldn't live in Texas if they paid my mortgage and gave me $5k a month in pocket money on top of that. There are plenty of places in So Cal where you can live for the same as Texas, and not have to deal with the shitty Texas weather and the MOTHER FUCKING FLYING COCKROACHES they have.

I went there once, I saw a hoard of flying roaches, I said fuck this damn place and have never went back.
