Cool weather promotes clear thought and innovation. Outside of antiquity, nothing worth a shit has come from hot areas.

You know, despite being in the Bay Area, Silicon Valley gets pretty damn warm...

And, Hollywood.

So, basically, the technical and entertainment centers of the freaking world.

what is this 120 degree so-cal weather some of you are talking about? i'm seriously wondering because i've only been to san diego in the summer (early july) and it was cooler there than it was back home here in MD that time of year, and didn't have jack shit for humidity.

and how the fuck could someone get sick of seeing palm trees, especially in the fall when trees are starting to die on the east coast? xmas this year in MD was odd as shit because it was like 70 degrees, but all of the plant life was dead. i'd rather it be cold when it looks cold outside.

In the CA desert it's definitely hot but obviously that's why hardly anyone lives there. It's cool where most of the CA population lives.

Watch out CA, this summer was humid as hell and still in the 80/90's. I'm betting that is going to continue being a trend what with climate change and El Nino for the next few years...

Its decently nice here, I'd prefer a bit more clouds, its too bright when its so sunny, my eyes don't like it.

I don't mind the snow. Although I prefer a 65f and sunny type day, I much prefer to be near family. Weather is not that big of a deal unless you make it a big deal, which is true for most things.

My only complaint was the sun made it too warm, and the snow was sticky.

It's pretty warm here for this time of year. :p Suppose to get pretty hot on Tuesday.

Holy Crap, that is in Celsius!!!

It got down to 52 here at night and we had the windows open. My wife and I were complaining about how cold it is. Yes, we are wimps.

The latest news from scientists is El Nino may be too strong so it will have to subside some before the rains come. We'll see.....

I live in the Northern Sacramento Valley. Its been in the mid-70s for three days. Redding hit 82 degrees the other day. Its not just SoCal that's having a dry, warm spell.

I think I'm going to go outside in shorts and flip flops and bask in the sun for a little bit. Because Cali.

It doesn't matter what the temperature is outside. It's 70 degrees inside my house 365/7/24.
