The Car Show's been pretty good this summer. Fuck Terra Nova. Fuck most comedies, only BBT has my interest (and thats only because I had a childhood crush on Blossom) The Office too but only because of the change in cast with adding James Spader. Zooey Deschanel's show I can take or leave, same iwth 2 ugly chicks. Both are more like Mike and Molly - which I could take or leave.

Haven't watched any of these, except for most of one episode of Prime Suspect, which left me disappointed. The English original, with Helen Mirren, was top notch, while this American copy, while not godawful, is basically indistinguishable from any other run of the mill network police procedural.

Based on its title, I was hoping for much, much more.

IMO, none of the fall 2011 new offerings have been all that good. Some are watchable, but that's about it.

I'm getting pretty fed up with Hawaii 5-O as well. Crappy plots, mediocre actors delivering weak lines, color saturation turned up WAY too high
IMO, they've taken what could have been a decent show and turned it into a mediocre cop show with good scenery.

Burn Notice
Castle
Community
Dexter
Fringe
The Office
Parks & Rec

There are others, but I can't think of them right now.

Some are dead already:

Only watched the first episode of playboy and prime suspect and that was enough for me.

Knew charlies angels was going to be horrible and didn't even attempt to watch it.

Charlies angels is, i'm not kidding or exaggerating, the absolute worst show I've ever watched on television. I just watched the first episode, but It was terrible.

I loved the part where they used a satelite to survey someone in an appartment, and it zoomed into the WINDOW, from the SIDE of the appartment complex. Was awesome.

Lol, I still have the entire last season of 5-O on my dvr. Could never muster up the enthusiasm to even begin to watch it, though. I think you just helped me make the decision to create some storage space. ;)

Its the right decision. Some of the first episodes are OK and suck you into wasting time on the rest. By the end you're wondering why

The Cancellation Bear is quickly fattening up this year. That's 3 shows in a week.

Flawed answer at best. You can still watch TV shows over the net, the question didn't specify they had to be watched on a physical TV.

You must be a prophet :^D

I watched Prohibition online, and while checking it out, I saw a reference to Boardwalk Empire. I think that's the best thing I've ever seen that was made for TV. It helps that I'm particularly fond of that era, but it really is a great show. Highly recommended. You need to start from the beginning since it's a serial.

Don't think there were many guys back in the day who watched the show as a kid who didn't.

Blossom wasn't that big a deal but her friend, six (Jenna von Oÿ ) , was where it was at. :p

She was cute and it was a lot more about her personality on the show than looks. And yeah the actress that played blossom got worse looking :(
