This. Here's what I don't get:
Why would anyone still support him? I'm not saying in relation to the typical tripe the GOP is serving up these days (Palin, etc. I despise ultra-conservatives as much as prog. liberals). But within your own party, why would you continue to support this person? Democrats, and Independents to an extent voted for him based on his campaign promises. Even before he was going against Mccain/Palin he had to defeat several other democrats. So Democrats/Independents chose him as their candidate based on the promises he made, and judged him first to be a better candidate than any other Dem challenger, and then Mccain/Palin.
Now I never liked Obama, at all. However I dislike him less now. Why? Because he hasn't done most of what he said he would do. In fact in some cases he's done the opposite. So again, why would a democrat still support him? You have an entire party of potential people to support that are still promising to do certain things, but you continue to support someone who made promises and then failed to live up to them. If you want to be a democrat, fine, but you have SO many other options you could choose from...why go with this one?
