Your program is making my office miserable. We just switched a month or so ago and it's no fun at all. At least I don't have to deal with it personally, I just get to hear all the project engineers moan and groan.
I'm a design engineer for an aerospace company. I mostly do bearings, oil systems, and seals for turbine engines.
I'm a State and Local Tax accountant. Too much work to do this time of year.
Right now I hate it, but it's mostly because I'm young enough to think that the world is fair. I work primarily with one person who is skilled technically but not at managing people; I end up bearing the brunt of her criticism because I'm on most of her projects, so I spend the majority of my time cleaning up after her. Can only polish a turd so much, in the end it's still a turd. Just annoys me when I get blamed for it.
Realistically, I will have this problem no matter where I go, and once I do become part of management, I'll be seen as part of the problem.
Dunno. Job's a job, I guess.

yay oil.
its so funny the range of different backgrounds people in oil have.
I am a wireline and perforating engineer for red based in rock springs wyoming. a typ day is a 12 hour shift either 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6 am. we basically use shaped charges in tubes to blast holes in the rock the oil comes out of. we also use radioactive tools to figure out what kind of rock and how much water or oil is in it.
what color do you work for? where are you based?
Electrical Engineer - I do systems integration on control equipment for power substations. I also do some design work on the side for a small company looking to bring in more money from investors. For them, I'm building an integrated system to monitor and control various equipment at the POP's (it's an ISP). Figures that the work I do for free is the only work I actually enjoy. I sit in my office and goof off at my real job. 
electrical estimator.. more interesting than I thought it would be, sort of fell into it, but currently taking night classes to get into technical writing.
