ive had 3 diff mp3 players, none of them were an ipod, and unless their produst improves about 10x i will most likely never have one

I don't have an iPod, but I was thinking about getting something along the lines of a Shuffle or something; a device I can carry with me when I go running and such. Then again, I don't want to be in my own world and unaware of my environment only to be pummeled by a car or biker. =/

I was actually thinking about getting a 1GB miniSD card for my LG VX8100 phone. It can play MP3s, but I can utilize the card to store pictures, transfer pictures and data from my computer to bring around...serves more than just the purpose of musical entertainment. Though, I am worried about killing the battery life of my phone. Anyone a phone-based music listener?

I got into the mp3 ports a long time ago. I had bought a tiny mp3 player from Japan made by Fuji that used dual SD cards. Used it about a total of maybe 10 times.
My car mp3 is the best. No need anymore for small portables.

I already have tinnitus from listening to loud music through headphones for too long, I'm done with that. And when in the car, I have CDs.

Looking at all the people I see walking around all day with earbuds in, I expect a giant increase in the number of people with hearing problems in about 5 years. If there was a treatment, I'd invest in that company.

I have my Treo which has software which works just as well as an ipod. I can also use it to watch movies, keep dates, and make phone calls. No, an Ipod isn't tempting me. My wife got one for free and it's still not tempting me.
