Like I had thought, you are speaking hypothetically as well as discounting what really happens with most people.

We have almost all been through a time where picking up a chick a day or even two in one day happened. To say one can repeat this every week they are 99% of the time full of shit.
 
Once I slept with someone who had slept with about 100 people. Therefore, logically, I've slept with 100 people by the STD transmission mathematical rule.
 
Meh. I've never been a poon hound. I have ALWAYS had high standards. I have many times declined sex with decent looking women whose feelings I did not wish to trample on (I felt they wanted more).

I refuse to be lumped with the pig slurpers, closing time banditos , and outright internet liars posting here.

But . . .

I came of age in the late '60's - '70's, and travelled widely both here in the US and all over Europe, for years. Plus, I didn't marry until I was in my 40's.

So . . .

A couple of years ago, as I was complaining to a loooong-time friend about the lack of available and desirable women, he scoffed and challenged me to add my number up.

Lol, it took me two day to remember them all. I, myself, was surprised at the eventual total. Mostly, my memory is of being alone, not having tonz 'o sex.

And, yet, my total ended up being far, far, far higher than any number yet posted or even hinted at here.

Edit: Ok, revoke that "hinted at" part. My number's been exceeded in hints posted here while I was typing this up.


 
Oh, and here's a challenge to all you manly boasters of the internet here. Slept with all those women, eh?

Then it should be no problem to post 10 pictures of yourself with 10 different good-looking women.

If even 5 of you bullshit boasters do this, I will, as well.

my points were were that anyone saying anyone can easily nail a chick a week (assuming they are attractive and not paid or the bar whore), obviously has not been there. You can do it in spurts...at certain functions you can probably line up two in a day/night....but overall unless you are living a celebrity lifestyle where you are traveling + have the focus on you by the group it's not going to happen for even the most studly of guys.

Getting to 200-500+ in a lifetime is certainly possible if that is a goal (again assuming the above) and not having many committed relationships to hold you back.

Wilt Chamberlain wasn't turning anyone down...you can do the math on his numbers and see that no one can say ANY guy can get 1 chick even every two weeks over the course of a lifetime. 12+ in a 17 week semester is more than that. Most couldn't even line up half that many dates alone.
 
And my point would be that the OP's number, 22, is not as huge as it first might look. It's more like all those statistics about how many pounds of beef or ice cream or "X" the average American eats each year. Those numbers alway look ridiculously large to me, at first glance.

Anyone that didn't marry in their 20's and 'dated' should have about 20 or so partners by 30's on average...assuming 3 date rules and going on at least 1-2 dates a month.

Most women like there age being locked at 29, will cap their partners around 3-5 forever.

Too many people think they are in a committed relationship at the first time they have sex together and just make up whatever keeps them together and having sex until they relize they can't stand each other...hopefully this comes prior to marriage and definitely kids, but it usually doesn't.

The 7 year itch is a real thing, most will find this the breaking point.

You're making wild assumptions here based, I guess, on your particular life style. A lot of guys (and women) I know simply never date/dated much, period, let alone did the nasty with any regularity. And there is absolutely no shame or notable backwardness in that, whatsoever.

Got married at 28yo. I've only been in carnal relationships with two girlfriends before my wife, for a total of three partners (back in the 70s, I was quite happy to stop at second base and, being a tit man, did not need to go further during casual encounters) and I feel no shame in this. Just seems that the ATOT crowd is [claiming to be] much more promiscuous than I thought. Surprising when you consider the incidence of chlamydia and the like. Maybe some people allow their second brain too much control over the first. 😉
 
when i was in college one of the guys on my floor had a different girl in his room every weekend. Amazing part is he was not that great looking. but man he would have a new great looking girl in there nailing her. i gotta admit i was soo damn jealous!
 
I don't see that it's that unusual. Studies show the number of sexual partners is extremely high in those under 40 right now. Just an aspect of the generations. Statistically a great number of people on this forum should be in that category or even higher.
