So seriously - why are there NO major brands of soda with cane sugar?

some office dickhead took my last 5 pepsi throwbacks from my office. I hope Pepsi brings it back soon. i dont know why they dont keep making it, when the stores do have it you better snag it, all their throwback products, pepsi, mt dew and Dr. Pepper do not stay on the shelves long.

Red Rock Soda uses cane sugar if I remember correctly. I though it was pretty good when I had it. Got it from Kroger if you have one.

My wife and I did a back to back blind comparison between American Coke (corn syrup) and Mexican Coke (cane sugar). You can definietely taste the difference compared to the Mexican stuff the American Coke burns your mouth. The Mexican Coke is much smoother.

Goes both ways. I did a non-blind test, fully expecting the mexican coke to taste better. I ended up preferring the american coke with it's creamier and richer flavor. Mexican coke tasted a lot more bland.
