well if this was some massive "right-wing conspiracy" as your type puts it.

1. They would have hauled him down to Guantanamo and suggested a military tribunal not a trial by the Iraqi's
2. They did DNA test but using your logic that could be a lie too.
3. Osai and Qusia had body guards and tons of weapons they could have had a chance or at least thought they did for an escape.
4. If they got caught it would be the end of the political end of the GOP bush and everyone associated with him.
5. Sadamm could show up and after a DNA test it turns out to be him we got some explaining to do.

You make it pretty hard to argue against you because EVERYTHING could be a government conspiracy in your argument.

i never called any one here a moron for believing cnn either, or called anyone any names. i am just saying this could be done and i guess more for the sake of argument and my entertainment than anything. however, you have already called me a moron.
all i proposed is a what if scenario. i suppose i was curious to see how many people believed this is plausible or not, and who thinks the government would at least think of this , and their ideas.

sadly you think i am holding a gun to your head and forcing you to believe my theory and probably got all riled up and your panties in a bunch and felt you had to call me a moron. i would have to say i am probably smarter than you.

now, i came up with this idea while eating dinner in a few minutes. im sure others who are a bit more open minded who think of other possibilites spent a few minutes thinking about this too. i am sure if it was an elaborate plot they would have thought up the video part. i am going to cease tryng to "defend" the logic of the 3-4 minute idea i came up with because all i am gonna get is called a moron. .

as for my post count, i have been on anandtech forever. and well i post interesting posts i think up of sometimes because well, they are interesting.

i spent a minute considering if it could be true. then thought "what would happen to bush and the repulicans if Saddam made another tape with a paper saying he was caught?" well then if it was proven that saddam was still alive it would ruin bush, everyone with bush, his party and really hurt the US.

so then i think ok..bush is a moron (Patriot act!) but he is NOT stupid enough to pull something like this. heck nobody in his cabinet would let him do something like this. they like there jobs.

by your "logic" any proof we have is part of the conspiracy. so it shoots down any evidence against it.
