I wouldn't want them injected.
Just cut em off quick.

i am not a strict vegeterian, but prefer eating more veggies for their taste, cheaper price, ease of cooking and healthier merits. while i dont think there is anything wrong with moderate meat intake, you dont have to include meat in your diet to make it nutritiously complete. if professional atheletes can perform well without eating meat, i dont see why we couldnt do the same. we could eat more fish tho, some polyunsaturated fat is good to have.

Once again, I didn't say you had to eat meat, but it's easier to get all your amino acids if you eat animal products. Even most of the amino acid supplements are animal-based.

make 'em ribeyes.

for me it was sirloin or bust, although london broils seem to have very little fat, as long as you cut off the excess that is pretty easy to do

Have you checked out prices for veges and fruits lately ?
They cost a lot more than meat.

I can get like 2lbs of chicken breast for 3-4 bucks.

Have you been taught any history?

.........real funny

This is fvcking retarded though. Look I know you can just look at the nazis or some other group and relate torture to it, but....for the sake of food that just disgusted me.

I dont eat all the fat from a ribeye, I dont trim at all before cooking them, the more fat the better flavor and juicier the meat. Just trim off the extra while eating it. London Broil is just about the worst cut, imho, to eat as a steak.

Hey it's eat or be eaten.
I'm sure if they could they'd eat us.
Just imagine going through the different parts of their stomach.

London broil has NO FAT, whatsoever. Ever look at it? Please do not tell me you eat a london broil cooked well done.:disgust: or any steak for that matter If youre gonna eat a london broil, it needs to be cooked rare to have any sorta chewable texture to it. It is a tough cut because it is sooooooo lean.

Fillet, on the otherhand, has less fat comapred to a ribeye, yet is very tender, however, it does not have as much flavor as a ribeye, imho (thats why in resteraunts you will often see fillets cooked/served with sauces, like a peppercorn whiskey sauce). I like most of my steaks cooked med-rare, over charcaol. Cooked right, all thats needed is salt and pepper.

being a poor college student i am, i rely heavily on frozen veggies. recently i started getting frozen chicken and fish as well.. as for fruits, i try to save elsewhere like junkfood; the only non essential food i buy is probably soda or tang. onions/carrots/beans/green beans are still pretty cheap btw :)

my cousin brought me some medium rare filet, and i was efeling queezy eating it because i just kept thinking about raw meat, and i was tasting the blood

i usually eat my steaks medium well, including london broil. i guess that's why i love london broil because it's sooooooo lean, i eat it as part of my workout high protein low fat diet

sirloins are great when i can't afford ribeye. Med rare steaks are cooked, really they are. Completely safe to eat as long as the meat reaches at least 145 degrees (traditionally 130-140) it is cooked as defined by the usda.

good read for you

It isn't blood. I believe it is denatured proteins IIRC.

OP: Good luck! I love eating animals, but have respect for those that resist.

I recommend you join a vegetarian support group of some kind. Other posters are correct in saying there are certain aminos and proteins that are only naturally occurring in animal products. You can, however, supplement them.

Just please do us all a favor and don't become a zealot! We're more than happy to show respect for difficult choices, but if you turn into a freak about it.... :|

it's because of that among other reasons i am now giving vegetarianism a shot again

i tried back in high school about 6 years ago, but the taste of meat kept bringing me back. i'm going to try to ween myself off of it now. wish me luck

UPDATE: the slaughterhouse is a kosher slaughterhouse

why not avoid red meat and poulty and stick with fish :)
